Then the savestate you made was never in the original movie. Try loading one that's close to the end.

1. Please post in the existing topic 2. Don't scream your topic titles 3. Dk64 isn't TASable yet because mupen doesn't emulate it Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh. Also read the FAQ if you haven't.

Nice, but you used Yoshi's triple jump, so I doubt this is usable in a TAS...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYcn68e6zKg 6 frames faster than mine and no special triple jump. EDIT: Thanks to mr_roberts_z for letting me know that skipping the ledge is possible, and I also optimized it a bit more and got 14"13

The thing I didn't understand was why in the cave area there's a sign that has the original message still on it ("Welcome to bob-omb battlefield etc.)

To all the people that can't get it to work, use mupen if you're not. In PJ64 you need to change some memory settings and stuff.

I have thought about it ;D -You can exit the town early by a BLJ -You can access the cannon early by a BLJ I have found a few small shortcuts here and there. I have the whole first area route planned.

There's two things that describe this movie: WTF, and YES.

That was an awesome shortcut. I wonder if things like that could be applied in other courses..

Well I have found a few new tricks, and we expect to save about 10 seconds from our WIP. But not for a while.

Amazing WIP Kirk. At the battle with the large rock thing right at the end of your WIP, you might want to get as far away from the explosions, because it appears to be laggy.

Yes I came up with the strat all by myself. I wonder if it's possible to get enough speed and just jump kick to the mushroom.

Actually it wouldn't be that much speed because you run to the 70 star door, and I don't think you can keep speed through that door.

Are you sure it's not in a different emulators plugin folder? (project64 etc.)

In mumbo's mountain couldn't you land on a jiggy from the switch and avoid a dance?

Seems that most agree this isn't a good game choice for TASing.
