Please don't submit a improved run everyday, just try for a while and make a really good run :) But I haven't watched this so i'm not voting yet.

Am I the only one that noticed how close that youtube link came to saying super flip in it? Or am I just insane?
You're over-analyzing. Read that section of the URL backwards.
Oh my god I suck at life.

Is that the optimal route shown in that test run?

That's a shame :(
The improvements are so small that there is no point of redoing the 0 star TAS.
I missed them, how small? Just like a few frames throughout? I'm guessing the only way to improve it anymore would be to get in the moat door? =/
IIRC he saved 2 frames on the BitDW BLJ.

So wait, correct me if I'm wrong, there are two runs of SM64 being worked right now, right? Kyman is working on the not glitched 70 stars run, but I seem to remember that someone else was working on a renewed 120 stars run, complete with new glitches and strategies to obsolete the existing one... That, and I doubt that the 0 stars run is improvable further.
mr_robert_z is working on a new 120 star run.

It's weird how you've found new, quicker strategies for practically every star now. You're doing great so far, just keep it up. :)
Acctually I didn't find any new or quicker strats...
Uh well, might call them paths then? The first flip up to the walkway in WF is new, the collecting of the cage star is new, and a few other small things.
The flip was discovered by Silent Slayers a while ago, and I wasn't the one who did that star (scroll up to what I wrote when I posted the WIP)

Done WF and entered CCM. Thanks to Brian (I think he's known as Brianstormer here) for Fall Onto the Caged Island, Blast Away the Wall, and Shoot Into the Wild Blue. Thanks to Robert (mr_robert_z) for hexing those runs in and finding an improvement at the end of Brian's Fall Onto the Caged Island by diving at the end. Anyways I think this went great! Enjoy! EDIT: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1187065862/Super%20Mario%2064%2070%20Star%20TAS%281%29%2812%29%20-%20Copy%281%29.m64 Improved by 6 frames EDIT2: Also I just realized i'm not supposed to enter CCM right away so ignore that.

- 75% of the time music. Sometimes I just forget. - I don't use notepad for frame counts and things, I just use my memory. - I always get thirsty when I TAS (wtflol) so I usually have a bottle of water near me. - I usually TAS whenever I feel like it, no specific time of day. - My save states are just random, sometimes overwrite things I didn't want to overwrite. - Frame advance is shift. Save slot 1 is 1, load slot 1 is F1 Save slot 2 is 2, load slot 2 is F2 etc.

"so perfection wasn't sought after." Doesn't that completely go against the point of this site?

For the island in the sky it could have been faster if you'd do a "stand" long jump near the bridge to gain some speed so that you can get with a second long jump to the island. This wall kick seems slow.
There wouldn't be enough height.

Haha, thanks! Wouldn't of been there if you didn't find it :) Also I timed it to be 23.06 which is great.

Well considering the 7 seconds from re entering level would be taken away from 30 twice so - 14 so we'd have 16 seconds from first time going there to going back to castle which would be like 2 seconds saved but I think we should actually test this before guessing.
