Stephen R. Covey: 7 Habits of highly effective people (Must read for anyone seeking some sort of leading position or, the more likely, ever having kids) Albert Camus: Exile and Kingdom Viktor Frankl: Psychology and existence Some I wouldn't have missed for the world, the first one especially.

Proving or disproving this theory is not applicable, thus, it is not a theory, but a postulate.

"Ja, inget kan slå voran bott" Subtitles: "Ya, nobody can hit our bot." Closer translation: "Yeah, noone can beat our bot" Even better is the German translation: "Nein, niemand kann den Bot anfassen" "Anfassen" is directly tranlatable to "grope" or "fondle", which definitively changes the setting :P

Thirded. Although I do contest their song wasn't "amazing" in any regards, just a "good," plain metal song.

Rumours has it, they have a seperate coach to carry the customes to and from gigs. Also, the customes are drawn and made by the lead singer. Eurovision will never again be the old, trivial quest to produce the most generic pop song imaginable, and thank you, Finland, for that. I voted Lordi.

I can load the site fine now, couldn't when you first posted. Shakespeare is saying you should probably stick to the emulated games, and that there wasn't as many movies as he expected. But it will come.

*Gathers torches* Looks to be a very fine project indeed. Some rather interesting ones already :) Best of luck on it!

To do the above call in IRC, you'd just type in
say %variablename
Or, if you just need it internally
%variablename
Thus IRCscripts > PHP Did anyone say comparing apples to african elephants?

A sad farewell to another member, but a welcome to a new life! Though we haven't spoken much, I felt this was in order; See you around!

Another possibility is SMB 1, 2(jap) and 3 together with, say, gradius. All scroll rightwards, making it easier to coordinate movement.

I though the exact same, Xkeeper. They really should have worded it more towards "Downloaded to a PC" similar, stating that the games are not altered any more than what is needed to get them onto a PC. Good read, though. Also suprised on Pflugs views on us.

Hmm... This mode is best suited for those of us with telepathic abilities and fingers connected directly to the machine: http://ccgi.gdward.plus.com/cgi-bin/tetris/highscores.php?death=1&hidenext=1&mirror=1&flip=1 (Death, hide, mirrored, flipped)

http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http://www.geocities.jp/fwpe0527/zero.htm&langpair=ja|en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=/language_tools Rather interesting article that was dugg a few days ago, describing how to clear the game without taking any coins. I don't know is this is a TAS or real-life speedruns, but the images seem to suggest the former.

Quite the metal forum, this one. Mainly listen to Opeth (there's just something about them) and Arkane Autocracy (A one-man-band by a guy I know, doing recordings in a cabin far from everything in the swedish countryside.). Not just metal though. I try to mix it up a little with some 80's pop songs, 60's rock, drum n bass and even plain old comedy. I think everyone here is a bit "off" on popular music today, because, well, maybe we just are. My last.fm profile for anyone interested.

Student in a small college in mid-denmark, currently involved in Philosophy, Maths and physics. I'll be graduating this summer, and then it'll be a year of working before going off to the university. Not sure what to study, though I'm contemplating combining philosophy & math. I currently (at least when summer comes) work in a well-known amusement park nearby, selling food items to visitors. Spare time, I do textures for PVKII and try to get involved in whatever musical set-ups I can, playing saxophone and different flutes.

(I should've never gotten into this) Hmm... Interesting things to consider: The amount of force (~ energy) required to accelerate (and decelerate) santa x m/s escalates as his speed goes up, by a factor of gamma. He would have to first accelerate for half the distance between a house and the next, and then decellerate for the same distance, making this a question of how fast he would have to be going when viewed from the earth by a stationary observer on it when passing the halfway mark. Assuming 31 hours (111600 seconds) to make the deliveries, he would need to make a delivery every 0,0000558 seconds, leaving him half that to accelerate, and half to decelerate. The distance from house to house in this idealized world is the distance Randil stated, 250m. Therefore, the problem lies in determining how much energy a relativistic object would have to expend to cover the 125 m to the halfway mark in 0,0000279 seconds, with it's mass (energy) reserve dwindling at each house. Since relativity theory isn't something I've ever encountered on a mathematical basis, count me out of this one.

Native dane with a slight hint of hot sauce. Apart from that, fluent in English (Written/spoken) and practical German (spoken). I'm in contact with a lot of swedes/norweigans in my part time job, so I'm picking up on that as well. Also have the power to say 16 words in spanish.. weee... Understand quite some more due to my colombian aunt though.
