I get an error while trying to DL this run - "Requested file is not authorized with this tracker."

Seems like you missed one puinch on a shark in the pipe levels. Excellent play otherwise. Definitive "yes."

Good playing, but I'd much rather see the story mode run. Meh vote from me.

Nothing to clander here, beside the slow-ish pace of the game. Yes vote from me.

I don't think those runs will be published...

If you weren't doing a new version, my vote would definitively be "yes."

If anything I'd go with Tombad's idea of including this submission in the guidelines. But this is Bisqwit's site, and I shall let him do as he pleases.
Opinion seconded. Might keep some repetitive runs from coming in.

So utterly bad it stands as an aphex of cruelty against humanity. I voted yes, only to give it a new award (How not to choose a game), and letting it stand as an epitome to bad game design.

Could be interesting enough to watch if you toy around with the computer while beating it (ala Arc's superbowl game done quick...), But wouldn't want to see more than maybe one game...

A definitive yes, although the style is quite similar to bisqwit's, not that it hurts, though.

Just played a bit of this game. It would most definetively make for an interesting timeattack (the dash function certainly helps) I fail to see what the actual objectiv of the game is, though. Could anyone enlighten me?

Peer pressure, eh? Consider it done. I'd quite like to see a 43 minute run of this.

First class. One thing though: At one warp pipe, you hit the pipe, then jump, then return to the pipe to swoop down. Is it impossible to go down it on the first try?

Could be done using pattern recognition copmbined with a re-feedback system (Along the lines of: "See enemy, jump over enemy, try to kill enemy, avoiod fireball, etc.), and since NES games are very low res, an AI could be trained to "see" enemies and try to scan for a possible place to land, then give it the basic rules of the game, and allow it to perfect a combination via evolution. Then leave it be for some time and see what it comes up with. But the coding involved would be zany, if rather doable with today's techniques.

Couldn't the polls be made members only? (Or are they already?)

Now, imagine that someone invented a special type of self-guiding golf club. This club would come with a handheld laser pointer, which you would use to define a destination for the ball. The club would then aid your own natural swing to get the result that you wanted.
Now imagine the club being able to slow down time and re-do a swing if you miss it. Welcome to competitive sporting :) That is possibly the best anology yet. My general idea is, that the key word here is not "competition," as many people seem to think, but "entertainment."

My observations: - on one of the very first ladders on the first boat, you seem to wait for the section to scroll down instead of just jumping down to the lower deck. Is this intentional? - Rafting sequence is a pain in the... Nose... Despite very good handling and planning here. Overall a very good film. Quite worthy of an encoding.

I actually quite fancied the animated version of Street Fighter. Then again, I wear a pink shirt sometimes... Eh... Ignore that comment. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114563/

Opinions seconded (Remember this getting like 26% in a computer mag back in the amiga days.) Good luck on staying awake during the run.
