Don't you just hate it when all your files on your external hard drive suddenly disappear? This happened to me twice. One time I had to format it completely which means I have to start from scratch and re-download, re-transfer, re-copy-paste most of the files that were lost. Please don't let me suffer though this torture again. My external hard drive is a Western Digital 6 TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive Can anyone help me? What is the best solution?

We can get more than 38 stars on Missing Stars. You know how? By cloning coins.

Nintendo Campus Challenge 1991 is similar Super Mario Bros. 3: Get 25 coins - score x 10 Pin Bot: Score 100,000 points - score x 1 Dr. Mario: Go for high score - score x 100 It is possible to get 25 coins without the Raccoon Leaf. Make chains to clear multiple viruses at once. Which means we have over 5:30 m:s left with 125,900 which means we need 98,741 points on Dr. Mario to reach 10,000,000. Super Nintendo Campus Challenge 1992 Super Mario World: Get 50 coins - score x 1 F-Zero: Complete 2 laps - score x 100 Pilotwings: Go for high score - score x 10000 32,800 in Super Mario World, 3400 in F-Zero, gives us 4:15 m:s for Pilotwings. It's possible to get 650 on Pilotwings, which means we can get at least 6,872,800 in 6:21 In order to reach 10,000,000 in 9:47 m:s, 60,000 must be scored in Super Mario World. Nintendo Powerfest '94 Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels: Complete the level - score x 1 Super Mario Kart: Complete 5 laps - coin score x 1000 + finish score Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents Major League Baseball: Home Run Derby! - distance score x 100 + 10000 per home run (1000000 in the finals) Do the Flagpole Glitch to save time. You can get 64 coins and finish first for 154,000 points, but we can get 50 coins and do the Mushroom Boost Glitch for a big time saver. As of now, our main focus is Nintendo World Championships 1990 for a score of over 10,000,000.

Well not quite
Although season 3 did air in Korea, there is still hope that Season 3 may air in Japan, but time will tell.

A challenge mode? It's possible to get over 60,000 in 1-1. 500-800-1000-2000-4000-5000-8000-10000. The trick in 3-1 is where you can get over 1,000,000. Get all the red coins and all the Yoshi eggs, get all the target scores, and get the highest scores. Some levels need to be completed twice.

The save file that's created by this TAS can be used on BizHawk by renaming it and changing its extension. As a matter of fact, the sound engine is almost similar to that of Super Mario Bros. 3, and some sounds were recycled from Super Mario Land 2 and Mario Bros. Also, World 4-1 was the first level Shigeru Miyamoto made. 32 levels were planned, but 5 of 'em had to be reused due to time constraints. The Arcade version has extra enemies and pits to make the game harder, and 6 levels were taken from the Lost Levels.

Well not quite, but there's always fansubs. Speaking of Equestria Girls, there's going to be three 30-minute TV specials (including commercials)

Yes, those emulators are going to be dropped, but VBA is not going to be dropped for GB, SGB, and GBC just yet.

If this emulator is no longer going to be acceptable for Game Boy, Super Game Boy, and Game Boy Color, I would like Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble to be granted a continuance.

A 2 Player Adventure TAS on Adventure Two! Player 1 uses T.T. and races for fastest time while Player 2 uses whatever he/she chooses and uses multiple missiles to blast the CPU drivers and finds the keys. Silver Coin Challenge is harder on Adventure Two because of different placements. Darkwater Beach and Icicle Pyramid beat each other up, Other two battle courses 2P is on guard duty. There is no mercy invincibility in many racing games that I know of. NASCAR games will count you out if you wreck you car. Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge counts you out if you spin out. NASCAR '99 counts you out if you flip (except on 2 players). NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona does not count you out no matter how badly damaged your car is. Probably the developers didn't playtest it before releasing it to the public. Only the publishers do that. Now for the characters: Pipsy and Tiptup are light Conker and Timber are medium light Diddy and T.T. are medium Bumper is medium heavy Drumstick, Banjo, and Krunch are heavy Light is fast acceleration and turning, but low maximum speed. Heavy is high maximum speed, but slow acceleration and turning. Stats are opposite from Mario Kart, except for turning which are all about the same (before Double Dash!!). Medium being average with the exception of T.T. who is the best character of all. The DS version is different as there's different minigames. The Balloon Pop and Wish Challenges are new features. Microsoft owns Banjo and Conker, Nintendo owns Diddy Kong (Because of Donkey Kong), All the other DKR characters are owned by Rare. For the ultimate challenge: enter FREEFRUIT, BYEBYEBALLOONS, TIMETOLOSE, BOGUSBANANAS, VITAMINB, and ZAPTHEZIPPERS. These codes only work on Tracks mode (except for Time Trials). Just like certain cheats only work on Single Player on GoldenEye. We could use the GoldenEye Setup Editor to beta restore the overworld. Trophy Race glitch from Hot Top Volcano to Treasure Caves, Snowball Valley, Haunted Woods, and Spacedust Alley. The longest tracks in the game are Crescent Island, Walrus Cove, and Windmill Plains. The hardest track of all is Greenwood village. At least you need 37 balloons to access Haunted Woods' Silver Coin Challenge, but you need 39 to enter Spacedust Alley. Ugh! If you can't beat it, do the Trophy Race glitches, Glitch to Wizpig, then T.T. Stomp to Star City. Why do that when you can TAS this game?

I just noticed mixed-match mode doesn't have a vs. com option, what the heck? (I didn't realize it before, because I always play this game with friends) In any case, I believe a full TAS for this game should include both Tetris and Dr. Mario.
Well we could do a Mixed Match TAS by setting the B-Type to level 10 height 05 and 30 lines, Dr. Mario on virus level 20 speed hi, and A-Type on level 10. The lines counter is not shown, but it takes 100 lines to get to level 11. We could make a lua script that shows how many lines are cleared. It takes longer to get 999,999 on this version than the NES and Game Boy versions 'cause the multiplier is capped at 10. Try to get a high score possible in 30 minutes. 9,999,999 is the maximum score. It's faster to achieve that score on Tetris DX, and it takes a while to get to 99,999,999 on Tetris DS.

Like if you have separate save files for Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue and creating an XML file for 2 players and want to trade, only to find out that the continue option wouldn't show up. But by merging the save files into one, you can see the continue option on both games, you can trade. Now if only we can do the Mystery Gift... that would be for another time.

There could be a possibility to merge and split save files for Gameboy games. The save file extensions are: SAV - Generic save extension SV2 - NO$GMB Player 2 save extension SA2 - TGB Dual Player 2 save extension SaveRAM - BizHawk save extension Merging save files: Merging two 8 KB saves to make one 16 KB save Merging two 32 KB saves to make one 64 KB save Merging a 8 KB save and 32 KB save to make one 40 KB save Merging saves creates a text file of the games' headers and save types Splitting save files: Splitting a 16 KB save to make two 8 KB saves Splitting a 64 KB save to make two 32 KB saves Splitting a 40 KB save to make an 8 KB save and a 32 KB save For splitting 40 KB saves you have to know what games use what save size. For example, If the Left Gameboy save is from Pokemon Red, it asks you what Gameboy game uses a 32 KB save, you click the Left Gameboy Game button. Another method is by also using a text file that was created by merging saves or by typing it in yourself. Merging saves and splitting 16 KB and 64 KB saves are easy to do, while splitting 40 KB saves requires knowledge.

FCEUX only gives you 5:25 m:s to go for the high score. BizHawk on the other hand gives you 6:21 m:s by default. You can control the time limit by going to NES > Advanced Settings Dipswitch setting default in binary is 00000010 Dipswitch 1 is time +2:30 m:s Dipswitch 2 is time +1:15 m:s Dipswitch 3 is time +:38 :s Dipswitch 4 is time +:19 :s Binary to Boolean; 1 = True, 0 = False B+Select skips to Rad Racer, but it gives you 6 less seconds of game time. A+Select show's the game time. The default time in the game itself is 6:15 m:s The in-game timer starts when Super Mario Bros. starts. Link to video Skipping to Rad Racer in a TAS test gave me barely enough time to get 397,523 points to get 9,999,995. Now the challenge is to do it with SMB. Kicking the shell can give you 15,900 extra points. Braking in the sand slows you down quicker. End at exactly 6,192 points. That method you should get exactly 396,487 points before time runs out. Get a Single then a Tetris then another single then 26 Tetrises and rely on the drops and extra lines until you reach your target score. I request that this topic shall be merged with this, this and this, so we won't have so much clutter.

If you're encoding a TAS of Tetris that uses pausing, use Game Genie codes that keeps stuff shown while paused for a separate encode.
Game Genie codes:
CEC-30E-C45	Keep Stack Displayed While Paused
Address 1C30	Value CE	Domain ROM
D9C-53E-D5D	Keep Current & Next Pieces Displayed While Paused
Address 1C53	Value D9	Domain ROM
If using both codes and there's no desync, then it's perfect. If both codes cause the movie to desync, encode with the former code, and encode with the latter. If the latter code causes the movie to desync, then you're fine. If the former code causes the movie to desync, then you're screwed. If using either code separately (not both together) and there's no desync, then both encodes have to be put together for a 3D encode. To encode in 3D: Use the former code and hide the sprites for encode 1 Use the latter code and hide the background for encode 2 The 2 encodes have to be combined to make a 3D encode which can easily be done on YouTube.

Since the Egg Items from Brown can be useful when traded to Prism which means a Pokemon Stadium 2 hack needs to be made.

Levels 32 through 255 can only be reached on B-Type. After level 31, the pieces drop slower. After level 71, the speed fluctuates. After level 255, takes you back to level 0. Nintendo never expects you to make it that far as levels 29, 30, and 31 are impossible for an average human skill at height 5. Only TASing it you can do it. TASing all 256 levels on height 5 gets repetitive.

Interesting. The pauses definitely interfered with my enjoyment of the run, but I guess that's the price for speed. My main question is about where you see this movie fitting in. Are you trying to obsolete Baxter's current run of this game (http://tasvideos.org/1633S.html) even though it has the extra goal of clearing all blocks, or are you looking to create a separate branch for fastest completion?
I probably was going for the fastest time to create another branch. By the way, speaking of branches, we could also do a TAS that goes through 256 levels. Even the SNES we can do B-Type Level 9 Height 5 and reach and complete Level 32.
