I installed the .net framework but it still won't load. I can't get it to work. I need some help. What do I do?

How about Not Tetris? I would be awesome to fill up the whole board with tetrominoes to get the maximum score of 4500 on Stack mode.

I managed to run Project64 on Hourglass. It takes awhile for the ROM to start up. I have estimated the time for the intro to start. At about 210 frames or 3.5 seconds running at 60fps. The ROM can only be played on Project64 1.7 as all other emulators crash upon entering Kakariko Village or other environmentally hacked areas. Now I declare that Zelda's Birthday can be TASed.

TASing with the camera code for this hack can only be done on Mupen64Plus.

We could get to the "secret" ending without going to any dungeon. Get the Kokiri Sword, get 50 rupees for a Deku Shield, go to Zora's River, get 20 more rupees, get over the wall by blocking an Octorok's attack while backflipping and the area with the waterfall won't load and voila. Maybe go for a "150%" run by getting the items you won't normally get in this hack. Doing a Bottle Adventure to get the Bolero of Fire. The second ending we could skip the blue fire for access to the Ice Cavern by doing a glitch to get to the Deku Tree.

At least it's faster than submission #1472: airman2's NES Rockman Exile in 29:40.60, but not fast enough as the one on NicoVideo. I'll refrain from voting as I am not gonna see this video. There's room for improvement for the one in 26:23 on NicoVideo, either that, or I hope the one on NicoVideo gets submitted here with permission from the author of that video.

Maybe someone can do a test run and play it on an actual console.

The fully evolved starters, Pidgeot, the legendary birds and Dragonite can enter the Pika Cup by exploiting the Ditto glitch.

Maybe do a TAS on getting to the Lost Levels quicker and getting to the credits. Warp to world 3, do the 1UP trick, but this time for the 300,000 points. I recommend using the Japanese version as the Lost Levels is not unlocked until getting Game Over in the American version. It would save you about 45 seconds in the long run and be completed in under 12 minutes.

Voting no for being too similar to the "warpless" run on the NES version. Here's an idea for a "100%" run - First Quest warped - Second Quest warpless - Challenge completed with all red coins, Yoshi eggs, and score goals reached. - Unlock Black Boo in all races - Lost Levels warpless - Near complete album You could make a run starting from SRAM by first inputting GameShark code 01A02AC4, start the game, then save and quit at 1-1. Close the emulator, backup the save file, then reopen the emulator and reload the game. (check "Disable All Cheats" if "Auto Save/Load Cheat List" is checked) Now start recording movie from reset, and let the "true 100%" run begin.

This run also syncs with the E version in NTSC speed.

From top to bottom... Level 19 on NTSC = 0.67 seconds Level 19 on PAL = 0.4 seconds Level 29 on NTSC = 0.33 seconds Level 19 on the PAL version the blocks fall slightly faster than level 19 on the NTSC version. Playing Level 19 on the PAL version in NTSC speed is as fast as Level 29 on the NTSC version. It is impossible to start at levels higher than 19 outside cheating or hacking. Should we migrate this topic with the one from 2004? ---- Should this topic be migrated with this? And yes, we should do a Mode B run on the PAL version because it's slightly harder than the NTSC version. ---- Edit by FractalFusion: Merged two threads and two posts. The second post merged was posted on 2012/08/29.

I just discovered a new glitch. In Rescue Rangers, After getting Mark (Taillow) on your team, returning back home from a long trip. But hold down the down arrow to skip the cutscene where you return home, but the only drawback is you won't get Rose (Espeon) on your team until much later in the game.

I tried out UltraHLE, but the ROM won't boot up. 1964 won't load Kakariko Village at all, like Mupen64.

Sure the PSX version has better music than the NES version, I'm not sure that a run with this version can be accepted. I think an octo-run is possible with a PS2 emulator.

There seems to be a little problem with the movie counter. 1916 was skipped for no reason.

This run is so amazing. I would like to see Zelda and Zelda II side by side. Even three Castlevanias at once, as well as all three Ninja Gaidens at once.

Fastest way to 5000 rupees is to sell the gold dust by performing the glitch at the curiosity shop. Do it before forging the razor sword into a gilded sword. Best after getting the giant's wallet. Special Delivery to Mama is at the Final day. 2 options: give it to Madame, or to the postman. Bottle Adventure anyone?

I may have found a way to run an emulator on hourglass. I read this issue here. The command line arguments: --rom rompath I tried with Project64, window appears, but stuck on frame 0. I tried 1964, window doesn't appear. I tried nemu64, same results as Project64. Any other emulators you can try?

What about a TAS in getting all 96 exits and all the Dragon Coins? Best to do #7 Larry's Castle for the last level of the Dragon Coins to skip the end castle sequence. I once attempted that TAS on Yoshi's Island 3, using Luigi I jumped off Yoshi to get the Dragon Coin, I came so close to clearing the lava. Is there a way that can be done besides using the P-switch? Would you attempt the same thing I attempted to do?

Now we need a 100% run on the GBA version (with 6 additional levels making it a total of 60)
