Vote yes. Looks great done and fast. I was very suprised after you beat World 8.4. Not sure if I every hear from this World 9 or A-D before. Must see what on my original cartridges is saved. I have think it ends after World 8.4 and maybe I never played the other Worlds. But must look later on my SNES to get sure. Maybe I must beat the complete game again without Warps. I still know how hard this games was as I played it the first time.

Great TAS and with cool glitches. Never know, that you can pass through people this way. And skip the ball of fire is nice too. Never see these tricks before. So yes from me. I skip most the leveling parts with fast forward. But the parts which I saw were great.

Wow, its always great to see a Super Mario World movie. It shows always so many tricks and glitches which I never see before. Great done and yes from me. PS: Yes, its bad, that you not get 99 Lives. Near the end I have think about it, but forget it after you defeat Bowser.

I got a strange problem when I play this movie. It plays fine till he get the first Bombchu and equip it. Then the computer Reset and start new, so the movie is gone. Yesterday I have think the computer gets to hot. But today I try it again and at the same time it reset the computer here, and it was not to hot for him I think. :-( So I must wait till the movie is up. Or someone know what I can do against this problem? This is a Win XP PC. 2.53GHz 512MB RAM. I think its good enough. And I watch one Castlevania movie in the past without this problem.

TheAxeMan started already a faster one here: Castlevania Adventure Reason why its faster, he defeat near all enemies at the first possible Frame (I think). I most not defeat enemies and have not know, that the games lags so much. When I use only Frame Advance I can't see it.

It contain little errors which cost maybe 20 seconds. But I have think that some maybe would like to see a full TAS without Warps. The Warp Run have I done later, so it contain much more new tricks and save some time here and there. And the Warp glitches make the movie much more entertainable. So much more like the Warp run better, and maybe 2 Runs from this game to much.

Yes, bad that this movie gets a no. BAD: The main reason, its boring. I know it myself. Always the same in near every Stage. Search Key and go to the exit. Only the Boss fights entertainment a bit. And after you reach the Top, you must climb down again and see all rooms again. Not so entertainment too. GOOD: At the other side its a very hard game, and I would say near unbeatable. I think its near impossible to beat without Tools. I have never done it on real GameBoy. I reach the last Boss when I not wrong, but he was unbeatable for me. So for this reason its a great TAS. You see finally the end. And the last Boss looks so easy in this TAS. ;-) So I hope that some see maybe this TAS at all. To when it will not appear on this site as movie file.

Vote Yes. Finally watch this run. Another old computer was near dead, not work correct anymore and is near impossible to reach the Desktop. So my mother has a new cpmputer where I can watch N64 runs. My is to slow for N64. Good run and look fast. I don't like these N64 Castlevania Games, but the TAS looks well done. Great item drop manipulation and fast.

Vote yes. I already like the first one. And this is faster now. Looks great manipulated and I think Pinballs are hard to play and manipulate. I played only Adventures or Jump and Runs. And there I can control the hero. But here you can only control the flippers, so I think its a bit harder to TAS then other games.

There seems to be a problem with this movie in the moment on the Statistic page: [83] NES Goonies (USA) by Phil&Genisto in 02:35 when this appear in a statistic, it always appear 2 times. Shortest movies, Shortest AVI files (by time), Smallest AVI files (by filesize), Least downloaded AVIs, Smallest amount of downloaded data. Everytime its listed 2 times.

I have not use this glitch left/right in the puplished TAS. Main reason I have not know it at this time. You can do it with the VBA Emulator, but you must first activate it in the menu. Left Right allowed or similar must checked. In this topic is a Test WIP from the left/right glitch TAS which I started. This looks totaly different, because I slide through walls with this glitch. In the puplished TAS I just press 1 Frame left, the next Frame right and again and again. So it looks maybe sometimes I pressed them together. Was only for show, no effect and is not faster I think. But when you press them together, you will walk to the right and can walk and slide fast through walls. I think this will be another category. More a glitch TAS. The puplished one is a glitchless TAS, which looks much better I think for this game. You see all Stages full which is first better to see the full game.

Only after Boss fights it looks nice that the shot is still inside you. i dont understand what you mean I mean through the autofire you still shot one time as the Boss is already defeated. When now a cutsequens will play you shot hang in the air. Sometimes it looks nice. 1. Boss is much better the mine. I use autofire , did you use it , is it allowed? autofire is ok. But I stand so far away from the first Boss. You can only shot again when your first shot is gone. So it takes much longer when you stand far away. 2. You can defeat all eyes with always one fly. yea i didnt use autofire, or didnt try to see if i could kill them in one fly Not the autofire is the problem. You are to far away like I by the first Boss. You can shot faster when you fly to the eyes always. 4. I get hit and stand inside from him. yea but i thought no damage was better , i dunno what the TASers prefer , hey all do you prefer damage/fastest or no damage/fastest?^^ By some games no damage is better or looks better. After I start this TAS I just try and see, that its better with damage. But most I like no damage runs much more. In the last Stage you use a shortcut which one? o_O if I use damage run , maybe i sure can add a lot of shortcuts, but it doesnt look as good for me than without damage :/ Its hard to say, have not the time or Frame anymore. You jump one time at the spiked wall with your shot to the left and jump then higher to the next platform. I go around and jump onto the platform from the right side. And much more shortcuts with damage are most not possible. I end many Stages with only one heart. So next hit will kill me. its more interesting when you can speak with or do a TAS against another player^^ Yes, everyone can learn from each other. You found some tricks which I have not know. I will try to use them next time when I will make a faster one. But as I say it will takes long. I work not so long on TAS and make them slower then most other Players here. It will be to boring for me to work so long on one TAS, so I need other things which I do often.

Found a French ROM already somewhere else. Watched your movie now. Movements not Frame perfected now, but for a test run not bad at all. You hang sometimes to long at the walls. Missing shots are bad too. Looks not good and perfect when you just shot and hit nothing. Only after Boss fights it looks nice that the shot is still inside you. 1 Stage You jump from the right to the left wall in the first Stage, this cost some time. But I do the same error in my puplished version. You can jump over the holes at one site. 1. Boss is much better the mine. Bridge You can jump earlier, then you fall down faster and most not wait till you can move to the right. But I do the same error. 2. Stage You climp up the one wall only at the left site. Better then me, I climp left right and lose some Frames. 2. Boss is not so good. You lose much time. You can defeat all eyes with always one fly. My 2. Boss fight is much better. After finish the Stage you walk over the tower. Wow, not know, that this is possible. This will save the one fight against the ghoul. Or it maybe not work in the (U) version. Must try it when I later work on this run again. Great to see some new tricks for my next try, which I can maybe use. After the bridge One random fight, bad luck manipulation. There is no need for random fights. Just wait 1 Frame and you will not fight on the map. But its only a test run, so no problem. But in a TAS you must avoid all random fights. I know its possible. You get the falcon wings earlier. Save time. I first speak with the ghoul at the bridge, so he go away and I save one fight. But the way is to long. Must test later which way is faster. For my first version I have think show a nice trick in the game. Change the weapon in the fight against the ghoul at the long bridge. I think its faster. At the bridge you fall to much down at the first big hole. Stop and restart flying, then you lose not so much high. 3. Boss looks near like mine. Not sure which one is faster. But you can stand much near him and shot faster. 4. Boss is slower. I get hit and stand inside from him. So I can defeat him as fast as possible. In the temple where you use the candle. The fight after the story takes to long. Just jump over the 2 enemies and defeat them faster from behind. In the last Stage you use a shortcut, which I have not know. Save some Frames again I think. I go another way which is a bit longer. All together good movie for first try. You must maybe learn how you work with FrameAdvance. It will takes much longer, but the movements will look much better and perfect. Then you can choose every Frame which button you want to press.

Yes, this is the problem. The movies has then different text length and then desync. My textscrolling is Frame-perfected. So I scroll as fast as possible through the text. When the french text is smaller or longer it will not scroll and desync. French text? Not know, that this old game were released in other languages, near no old GameBoy game released in german. I know only Mystic Quest (Final Fantasy Adventure), which is released in different languages. Is this an official translation? Or maybe selfmade from Fans? This site use only official ROM and no Fan-Translations. Only when the game is release with french text then its maybe ok. But most its better to use english versions. Try to find the english (U) Version. Most movies from this site use (U) versions, because most people can read english and understand it. I don't understand french and can't read it. But when I find a french ROM I will try your movie again.

Your movie has an other CRC as mine. Maybe you use a wrong ROM? Your first movie play the first Boss, but desync after the Boss battle. Must watch your other test run later. I only have seen your first WIP yet. The Stage looks not so good, but for a test good enough. Your 1. Boss fight is much better then mine in the puplished TAS. As I do it I have not know, that I can stand infront of him and shot as fast as possible. So I lose much time here. But this was only a problem by the first Boss. Near all other Bosses are much faster by me or as fast as possible. And when I try it later again I will improve the first Boss much too, because I know now how it work and that you can stand infront of him. No damage will lose much time I think. Because I found much shortcuts which only work, when you take damage. And these shortcuts looks great for this game I think. Most I like no damage runs too. But here I have done a damage run, because it saves much time. EDIT: Your full movie desync for me in the beginning room. Wrong ROM I think, because different CRC then mine. And I sure I used a good ROM, because noone has problems with my old movie from this game.

Not try to watch your test yet. I will try later when I have time. One thing. Do you have download the Emulator from this site here? Download VBA here If not, download this Emulator. Its a special version from this board here. Only with this you can watch and make vbm files which will accepted for this site here. If yes, maybe my vbm file is to old and not compatible anymore with the new Emulators here. Because I have used and older version. Not sure if they are always work with newer Emulators.

Good luck. I can only say, that this is a hard game for TAS. At the other side, you can learn much when you TAS this game. The world map is not hard. There you can learn luck manipulation. But the Stages are hard. There you must work much with Frame Advance to make them look good. I want to improve this TAS myself one day. But it will take long by me till I start and finish it. I will first finish one other TAS which I started, and then maybe improve this one. But I still not sure if I should do a glitch TAS from this game (left/right glitch to slide through walls to the right). It would be much faster, but much more boring I think. So I will first maybe do a glitchless TAS to improve the puplished TAS. And this will maybe miss the trick were I get the wings later. I think its faster when you get them earlier and fight the ghoul at the long bridge. But this will I test when I do the TAS.

I don't like the game itself. But the TAS looks good and fast, so I vote yes. The luck manipulation looks well done too.

Its to much to list all. To make it a bit shorter. I like near all Adventure, Action-Adventure and RPGs TAS. It is always great to see how fast you can beat them. All Super Mario Bros TAS (1-3 and World) are great too. Castlevania all TAS. One from the best is still the Super Castlevania 4 TAS from them. And some other games which not listed yet are: Bubble Bobble (2 Player) Snake Rattle 'N' Roll (2 Player) and maybe some more.

Every Shooter like R-Type and Gradius and autoscrolling. But there exist speedruns too. So why not make one from this game. This is the main reason, why I try to play it a different way and use as less balloons as possible. To make it a bit more entertainment. Bosses are the only part, where you must play with Speed, the Stages are auotscrolling. But you must always at the left side when you reach the end from the Stage.

I know, its a bit old. But today I found a bit time for this movie. Sorry, but for me it looks not so good. Maybe the reason is the game, and it looks only a bit slow. But many places looks a bit slow for me and not as fast as possible. When damage speed you up, why not get hit more often, that you end near all Stages with only 1 heart, when you do a damage run. Why not jump onto the spike enemies and jump faster over then? Then you must not wait so long till they change into the jump platforms. And only 35 rerecords is to low for this movie I think. Try much harder and maybe with Frame Advance. Use SaveStates and always try to jump as early as possible. Its your first try, and everyone has start someday. I know my first tries were very bad too. But try a bit harder and with much more rerecords. Maybe it would look much better then. It looks like a nice platform game, but the movie looks not puplishable at the moment for me, sorry.
