That was nice Although i still don't understand why you so rarely "fully deplete" your ki bar with the L+R combo against bosses. As well, i don't understand why you didn't hit bosses when they were falling down. IE, Chauzu & Piccolo were on the same height, yet you didn't hit them. And in the cloud level, you beat up one droid relaly badly, with two L+R combo's as well, this really slowed the level down a lot. But for the rest, nice job. Entertaining for sure.

The notification worked flawlessly this time... :D But anyway, i believe i hadn't read any mail for this certain topic (thus not closing gmail and forgetting about it) but i did see new replies today. i will monitor myself more closely if i don't actually read those mails and then close gmail coz i have to leave or something. still, if anyone else feels like they're having the same thing, i'd like to hear it.

I've been having these wierd glitches lately. I always "watch a topic" i'm interested in. Lately i'm not getting a lot of emails from the auto mailing program, while some topics DID get new messages in it.... I checked my spam box and they're not there. So i'm kinda leaning towards the function being somewhat broken? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks.

I remember the Boss had 2 chainguns and could insta rape you.[/url]

Dash + Sabre = Best speeding *through* enemies.
Not quite true. Since it's slower than a normal dash. Dash-jumping while slashing would be the best way to go. If the enemy is too powerful to be destroyed by that, use a buster shot or a charged saber beforehand.

That was fun, again. Although i still have something to point out. I saw that you didn't use the l + r combo as much as you could. for example, in the yamcha fight, yeah beat him up until he is near dead, and then use the combo, while still having 1 ki bar left. since i played the game, i know the L + R combo does an incredible amount of damage. so it would only be logic to use it as much as possible (i do't think it'll become boring, you can't use it all the time anyways) and to use it to it's full power, not only for the few last blows against an enemy. (like you did against yamcha) and i think it's self explanatory that you shouldn't have any ki bars left at the end of the fight. it seemed like you made better use of the combo in your later fights though. also, i see that you haven't fixed any of the points mentioned earlier on. (like the rocks i mentioned, and jumping over them. you know, the ones that block your path in the jungle) if you're gonna be serious about this run, i suggest you improve your faults, or your movie might not get published. unless this is a test run, and you plan to do the actual run after this one.

Don't get me wrong, i'd much rather see this run have variety rather than the same move over and over. I'm just worried that if you do this, some other punk might come along and beat your time and work using only the strongest attack(s).

Wait, crap, i've been doing this on hardmode? figures.... i thought the game was hard as hell normally. anyway, well, i suppose you should do what you want to do. i can't remember runs that didn't aim for the fastest time, but if you say so... although judging from this movie, it looks like you're trying to get the fastest time. oh well.

Wauw, i played the game by myself and the game is amazing. it brings back memories, so i'm gonna watch DB again ^_^ the game itself can also be incredibly hard when you don't know what to do. with the japanese text and all, not been playing from the start (i played from where your movie ended, at chouzu) i din't know much about the controls in the early stage. especially the emperor pilaf 3 robot transformation fight was incredibly hard for me. so seeing you beating these guys so fast is awesome to see. anyway, in the first level, the first purple pteradoctail you enctourer, you wait for it to fly lower, and then combo his ass. wouldn't it be faster to attack him in the air, ie a upwards kick, plus a powerpole hit? just a thought also, when in the jungle, looking for roshi's stone, there are some blocks that block your path, so you destroy them, and can then move on. you destroy all blocks, while you could easily only destroy the first line, and then jump over the 2nd/3rd. those are 2 points that came up to me after finishing the game and watching your wip run again. anyway, doesn't kicking back missles do pretty much damage? if you're not close, and can kick back the missle, i guess it would be best to kick it back? unless you can't combo into all those fiercy attacks then... (meaning if it's slower, don't do it, even though it looks cool) as for your other questions, i'm afraid that whatever is fastest, must be executed. i like veriety, but if something can be done faster, i'm afraid that for this kind of run, you'll have to do just that.

Watched the entire thing. First, again, i would like to point towards Mike's critique. Especially about the ranking stuff, a TA video should just go for as fast as possible. Second, i will list mine. There's some from the former submission review i did, looks like you didn't do any research at all.. Anyway, here's some my critique: - You don't seem to understand that the axe (knuckle weapon) rapes all in hardmode. Although your saber left-right-left-etc thingy is much faster, the axe does way more damage on the boss than the z-saber, so they die faster. Always use an axe against a boss if possible, even the final boss. - in the first 'final-level' where you have to clear the eastern, northern, western, and southern parts; at the south section (i believe) you have to wait for the bombs to come in so you can blow up the boxes and go down. Earlier in the level, you can get a drill fom a certain enemy. (i don't remember where) You can then use the drill to drill your way down instead of waiting for the bombs. - at some boss fights, the bosses weren't flickering all the time, or as much as possible, even at some points it would be possible to hit the boss sooner. - i also think (if possible) the bosses should be manipulated into never going off-screen. Like pegasus should never go off-screen so you are able to hit him as much as possible. And like kraft, he should go into his 'cloud' where you have to pull him out. i'm not sure if it's possible, but i think it should be researched. It's good to see a more serious run for Z4 this time around, but it still has too many flaws. Vote: no.

Hmm, even though i mentioned the bonus level thingy, i'd be more interested in a warped run. I'd definately download 'n watch the warpless run as well, but hey, isn't that a bit too much hassle for one person?

I take it you haven't picked up the run yet? Or are you still busy with school?

Am i the only one who thinsk the bonus levels should be finished, instead of falling out? The mission of a normal stage is to reach the goal. The mission of a bonus stage is to collect all bananas. Thus, imo, the player should finish the level collecting all the banans, instead of falling out. It's faster, but imo it's not really the correct way to handle the stage. The only difference is that you don't lose a life in a bonus stage if you fall out, but that doesn't change the fact that you (again imo) should finish the mission. But hey, that's just me.

Amazing.... that looked awesome, especially the boss fight. The normal parts look a bit slow (thanks to the game) but once you roll down a hill or get the speed boots, you're a cannonball. Keep it up!

Although it doesn't seem like you hit the last boss as much as you can? i see a a few moments where he doesn't flicker for like 1/1.5 seconds. The rest, was incredibly fast and entertaining.
