Very good improvement and very entertaining! Definite yes for me. What happened to Krang's third phase though? It looks like it was skipped entirely.

Wow, great progress man! I'm looking forward to seeing how many more improvements you find. How exactly does that ball skip work at the beginning of Terminate Her Too? Is there a generous window of timing to hit the target?

Thanks, but that does not seem to really be a prize world. It's a weird glitched version of a minigame you have to play in the main prize world, and it has a time limit. With that time limit, I don't think you could accomplish much of anything interesting in that area, but maybe someone with TAS experience with this game could check it out.
The title was merely a joke. Sorry, I should have pointed that out. You can break the timer if you die right before the time runs out, then you can do whatever you want after that. I did some running through it for a while and eventually you loop back to the minigame from the left side. The screen locks once you bring it all the way on screen, so there's probably not much more you can do.

Wow that wall jump skip is so good! Pretty difficult to time in real time. Seems there isn't much room for doing the jump. Good find! And I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the TAS!

Wow nice find! Is it frame perfect or can you do it in multiple frames?

Thanks for point of second stage in act 1, Mecha Richter! It's saved 130 frames approximately! And thanks for Quick Kill Trampo Bird Strategy! It saves approximately 15 frames! I'm going to redo this work to Bizhawk emulator instead of Snes9x, because of Bizhawk is the SNES emulator recommended for TASVideos. Sorry for not more explications of this WIP Run, I'm not speak english!
I'm glad they helped!

I'm really happy to see someone pick this TAS back up! I watched the WIP and I noticed one thing you didn't do. Not sure if it would actually end up being faster in the TAS or not... But in the second stage in act 1, the last set of 3 worms right before the doors, if you let the top middle one eat you, it will take you to the next stage as if you entered the red door. In other words, the ice stage. I end up doing that in my runs because it saves me a few seconds. When I first read that Tops was being used, I was a bit disappointed because I thought Rex would be faster in the end, but I was wrong. That rapid fire attack is crazy! I don't know if you know this, but when I was trying to find faster ways to kill bosses with Rex, I accidentally found out you can quick kill Trampo Bird with one jump if you freeze him then jump on his head. This can theoretically be used on the act 5 boss too. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the TAS goes. :)

Those improvements were amazing! I'm actually surprised it's faster to not use balloon in stage 4-2, and the end of 3-1 was really cool. Definitely a lot of improvements I never would have thought of. Yes vote from me for sure!

Interesting. Changing weapon caused this?
I wish I could say what caused it, but I honestly have no idea. It could be either that, or I got hit on the same frame I damaged it.

I'm not sure if this has been known, but I apparently found a super fast way to kill Osteroid. This was my first playthrough of the game, so I had no idea how I was meant to kill him and wasn't aware of what I did. http://www.twitch.tv/mecharichter/c/5544881 I only knew it was a quick kill because Zodastone and Darkwing Duck were going nuts in my chat. Zodastone tried testing it and only got it to work once, and he says it saves about 3 seconds. I don't know if it would be useful for the TAS because it seems like you need the supergun, but I'm not sure. Like I said, this was the first time I beat the game, so I'm not too familiar with everything.

I approve of this TAS and I'm happy to finally see an optimal TAS finally done! Thanks Samsara! The only improvement I could think of is damage boosting through the first crusher in stage 3 by getting hit by a bullet and walking through the crusher. Might not be faster since you have to wait to get hit, but worth checking regardless. I've had other weird things that could save time too, but never been able to replicate them or even have the slightest clue what caused it... like the water physics breaking in stage 1 and the second bombable floor (the one above the scissors) completely losing its collision detection, making the bomb unnecessary. I honestly think that was a cart malfunction though. Anyway, well done on the TAS!
