Not interested enough to watch an hour and a half of that, but if I had to guess, I'd assume that while some of the things it says may be based on actual facts, there's probably a lot of accentuating the negative, ignoring the positive, exaggeration and deliberate misinterpretation. In other words, and quite ironically, propaganda.
Thats why I found the whole thing rather amusing. If you watch documentaries about North Korea, China and Burma. We tend to cover it in a way thats not too dissimalar. I guess you could call it censorship in a way i.e. we don't call it a propaganda film; we call it a documentary.

I think it would be best if you don't skip the cutscene and credits at the end when you eventually submit it.

A North Korean documentary about western propaganda. Some weird imagery and source material, but surprisingly accurate in terms of how people in the west are largely controlled and manipulated. Link to video

To think some were saying a TAS wouldn't be no different from an RTS.

I know when you're working out projectiles at school you're always doing it without factoring air resistance. Does anyone know how to factor it into calculations?

I suspect the knife strategy is probably faster for Krauser. I remember exhausting all my grenades and fully upgraded Killer 7 ammo a month ago, and he still wasn't dead. Admitedly it was on professional difficulty which explains a lot.

As you mentioned the WIP is very suboptimal, but its only a test run. I would definitly make a complete test run and try get used to the game and its quirks. Hopefully you might discover something that RTS runners haven't figured out.

Great technical achievement, but the payoff wasn't worthwhile. Unlike the pony version.

Don't you have any other tiny trailer for the poor hungry souls we are? :P
We've already waited like 2 years for this to get anywhere. I'm pretty sure we can wait another 2 for the finished product.

Cheats shouldn't be used if it makes the game easier. Unless its a secret or unlockable character. However, it is allowed if it makes the game harder. For example the Streets of Rage 2 TAS. Cosmetic changes are also allowed.

Wow that was absolutely beautiful. I think that is the closest we will get to a 100% run :) Unless this sparks interest for Bloob to start working on a full run. Is Mupen friendlier towards Ocarina of Time compared to Majora's Mask?
There is very little interest in a 100% OoT run AFAIK. For starters there is arguments as to what exactly a 100% run is and what restictions should be put on it. Aside, much of the side quests are boring and dull.

How long is a 100% TAS likely to be? Just getting it off the ground due to route planning problems would be a feat in itself. Its likely to be a 2+ year project if you want it done to the standards of the current any%. I will admit if I had the money I would pay someone to work on it full time for a year.

The one thing that struck me about Winnipeg and Toronto (and I assume this probably applies to other places in Canada as well) is how much of a ghost town they feel. They're large places, but not a lot of people in them relative to their size.

I remember this being the first ever game I ever played in the 32-bit era and being blown away by the sound and fmv sequences. Personally, I think the levels and bosses drag on too long and its hard to distinguish between real time playing so I'll vote no.

I'm a bit confused by the methods used. So I don't understand it from that perspective, but the results weren't too exciting so I'll vote "meh" for the meantime.

I think a more interesting comparision would be all the cucco collecting TASes done over the years http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4mpxaHlkW4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QTh8iTRdiw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VEfQo8hXbs&feature=player_detailpage#t=455s I think Bloobiebla did another cucco collecting one, but dropped the any% where SL ended up taking over. I'm not sure if the WIP still exists. But it would be cool to have six TAS comparision video.

I'm also saddened by the fact that there are so many people in your same situation who refuse to accept any conventional medical treatment because they have this conspiracy theory that conventional treatment is "poison" and they are only using people as lab rats for their horrible experiments. Ironically, these people will suffer and die for nothing.
