Conglaturation on completing a grate game.

How amusing the shit goes down on the 23rd floor. [Cue conspiracy nuts!] Makes me wonder how doable this could be on a console... but damn amusing. Glad it had the game genie ending though.
Its the same amount floors in the movie. The fact your need to tap buttons to progress is a very daunting prospect. I'm pretty sure you can buy additional stuff in the shops to fend off the ghosts in the stairway section, but you'll end up spending a good couple of hours doing that.

I have no idea what I just saw there. It was like some secret recipe I was watching being made.

The reason why the North Korean regime has lasted and will continue to last is because of the very strict control they have over information. This is why many African and Middle-Eastern dictatorships will not last this decade. The only way North Korea will ever change is via voluntary reform.

From what I've heard, the Ruto bottle is slower. Even on the J version.

Well, that's already very known to us. To be even more clear, this is what I would like to know: Have you found any zip in the Spring Yard Zone?
I found a zip in SYZ1 earlier this year, but its useless. Basically, after you get the speed shoes and run along the top of the stage as normal. Once you get to the area where there is a steep slope and a circular star spring at the bottom of it. You can run at it and get ejected into the wall below it. EDIT: Looking at the map for SYZ1 it was most likely the red spring below where it says "CPU"

Wait... it looks highly doubtful to me that you managed to make this run syncs on a real N64. There are a lot of lag differences between a real N64 and Mupen64, especially in Super Mario 64. Also, how in hell would you get the same exact RNG when playing back the "120 stars" run? Really, really inconceivable...
Input is polled seperately for SM64 unlike say OoT or any game on an older console. As for the RNG its always starts at the same value when the power is switched on, which probably won't be the case for CD based games. When the guy played back SMB3 on console earlier this year, I believe he wrote a program that would ignore lag when playing it back.

I saw this documentary a couple nights ago. Its done by the same guy who brought you America's Most Hated Family. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 I was wondering what were peoples opinions on the ethics on owning such dangerous pets. It seems to me people only want these pets when they're young and not thinking ahead when they reach an age of sexual activity. Where they are more prone to violence and unpredicable behaviour, thus end up ditching them in an animal sanctuary like the one seen in the documentary. Some people think its cruel that they are caged up in a zoo, but it seems to me a lose, lose, lose situation. If you put an adult tiger in a cage you get animal right groups saying how restricted they are. If you have them freely roaming around its owner then you'll have them potenially causing damage to property and death/serious injury to not just strangers but the owners themselves. If you release them back into the wild (assuming it was born and bred in captivity) then it will struggle to fend for itself and almost certainly be hunted to extinction.

Thanks for the file MATCH6974, I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong it turns out you need to Press... A for 1 frame No input for 6 frames Tilt stick between 20-40d* No input for 1 frame Tilt stick between 20-40d while pressing ^c *It appears 75d is the minimum amount of tilt you need to achieve full running speed on the 0.6 TAS input. So you need to hold the stick somewhere between 26.6 to 53.3% of maximum tilt.

Not much, I just uploaded a WIP for test quality purposes. Since the game lags like hell when watching it back on emu. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZUqQlpPeJA Currently I've spent 3914 rerecords because you need to constantly check which direction Goemon is going. However... @Mitjitsu - Just find the "facing" address using MHS and change the input according to the facing number it gives you. That way, you'll always walk straight. This is what I did for Chameleon Twist. Great work so far. Hope to see more from you, AKA @Nahoc10 - How would I go about searching for such an address? @Mitjitsu - Well you do a first scan, then turn around, re-scan, turn around, re-scan, etc, until you get a minimal amount of addresses. Then, you check which one corresponds best to the facing of your character. It's usually "unsigned short". If you need further help, just ask Unfortunately, I'm unsure how to search for such an address. Currently the only one I use is Ryo, because the J version inventory has a graphical glitch. I would also need to redo the section outside Goemon's house since it doesn't incorparate the edge running trick. Having a facing address would definitley cut down on the amount of time and rerecords a run like this would take to make.

You're better off doing the Saturn version. Are you aware of the infinite punch trick which involves iterating P,K,G ?

The 3:56 was a single segment, but the 3:09 does have a lot of new stuff in it.

Very well done, yes vote. IMO this is a horrible game choice for a dream team contest, next they'll be doing Forsaken.

It's possible that because bankers have so much money they can create an economic crisis and destroy entire countries (like Greece) for profit because they control the flow of money, which is tool that controls our world. In any case, problems like this exist because we use money, so that is the main problem and the one to blame.
The Greek Crisis wasn't caused by the banks. It was caused by government overspending and excessive borrowing. Such as having too many people working in the public sector and paying them too much, then you tax evasion that was commited on an epic scale. Infact, tax collectors themselves were helping people to avoid paying tax. Money is not the main problem, its people attidudes around it.

Saturn sure likes submitting runs that will inevitably lead to flame wars and heated debate.

I think everyone (to a certain extent) is responsible for the ecomonic crisis not just the bankers or polititions who are most easy to blame. You have housing that was greatly overvalued (estate agents/home owners) and many people taking loans and credit they knew they couldn't repay, then banks being too willing to give out loans and extending credit to people who could ill afford to repay. Followed by polititions who were encouraging all this, not realising the long term implications.

Your run can still be obseleted by a slower U run if its faster when text speed is taken into consideration. You should state in your submission how much time was saved because of that advantage.
