Mario World because it contained improvements which were inconcievable.

150k plus re-record :-0, you guys must be going for some kind of record here. Anyway, I really hope we Aztec and Egyptian levels. The credits at the end of cradle don't matter that much.

I have the same feelings as the two posters above, but the action was so non-stop, I'd probably need to watch it a couple of more times to make sense of what I just saw. Yes vote.

Why not have a logo which has an evolution of Mario sprites.

Also, Argentinians defend that Maradona is the best soccer player ever. [bully] (the rest of the world knows it is Pelé) [/bully]
The main difficulty comes from the fact that Pelé was surrounded by team mates who were just as great as he was. While Maradona pretty much won the World cup and League with Napoli on his own.

It wouldn't surprise me if there is ways to overcome the other star doors with HSWK.

I was shocked when I saw that only 2 N64 movies were published this year, with one them being questionable (meaning it's clearly obvious what to vote for). At least next year, it will be a bumber year for N64 submissions. We should at the minimal see MM, OoT*2, SM64*2 and Mystical Ninja.

When I want to rate a movie and log onto the front page. I login fine, but when I click onto the page I was orginally on. I'm magically not logged in but it's fine for every other movie and page within the Wiki.

Now that I've watched it again, I have to ask why didn't you play on the highest difficulty setting?

This is amazing. I have to say that so far this is the most entertaining movie of 2010, and even this decade. (for just now)

I find that topic title confusing. 'Most overdue TAS of 2009' would sound better. You would use a topic title for something like 'Most awaited run of 2010'. Speaking of which would definitley create good discussion.

What worries me the most when the run is submitted is the lag emulation issues the game has. I just hope thats its possible to reduce it when it gets encoded. As with the run itself the general movements from place to place aren't paticularly great. I know the camera makes it tricky to move straight and accurately, but by changing where the analogue is positioned during each frame. You would get much more fluid movements. The glitch to enter odeo castle and to skip the Impact scene was very surprising to see, but you could have tackled Mt Fuji better had you used the seam climb trick. EDIT: My suspicions were confirmed. I tried TASing up to Mt Fuji and saved 18 ingame frames , just by moving more efficiently. I felt I was being pretty lazy when I put this together, but I do find it tedious to do because you need to check where you are facing after every frame, but the frames it saves do add up in the end. It should be possible to save even more.

There's Quake 1+2 on the N64 as well, but they aren't well enough emulated to be run.

For those of you who like a challenge (who doesn't), there's a Mario flash game which features a Japanense like cat. The stages are simalar looking to the first 4 levels in SMB1 and contain many nasty unavoidable beginers traps, which exploit what people might know about the orginal game. I've completed the game about 4 times, but it still takes me in excess of 20+ deaths to do so. Interestingly in the last level I found 2 ways to get across the bridge where Bowser (equivalant) is. Sadly it ends in death, even if you don't grab the axe and let the enemy cat do it. You're left bouncing on it's head with a screen lock preventing you from going any further. Although there is actually a way of going down the area 51 pipe. It was not to my surprise what the outcome ended up being.

How come every time I try to watch this on Snes9x the emu crashes? I was able to watch it thanks to the encode and I was surprised how obvious the improvements were, and Donut Plains 1 was significantly improved in terms of watchabilty. Compared to all the previous runs.

Acceptable run of an acceptable game, yes.
