You might want to look for Z-position coordinate, it's very useful for bomb hovering.

Does this improve R_z's WIP? If so how much by? One thing, try not to overdo the camera changes, I don't mind much if the camera zooms out or rotates, but the constant switching from Lakitu >> Mario and vice versa is a little overdone.

If a Perfect Dark TAS was done, I'd love to see it done with 2 players.

has somebody a debug rom to see if there are any potential places to use wrong warp or is somebody keen on helping me with it?
You could always use PJ64 which has levatation cheats.

simply activate ISG with deku stick on B ;)
That can only be done in the 1.2 version and it would also involve using death or a save warp.

Since zOMG found how to get 12.2 on the secret slide. Will the up and coming 120 star TAS use it?

I do have an incredibly rare pc game, something which I've never encountered over Ebay. Sadly it has next to no sought after value (so no kind of estimate could be made), as it wouldn't interest your average gamer. Other games I have that have some value are Athlete Kings Christmas Nights OoT Gold Cartridge The rarest game and most desirable game that comes to mind, was an unreleased, unfinished game of a Link to the Past 2 on the SNES, or whatever it's may have been titled.

It felt a little too short for me, mainly because of the uneventful nature of the run, especially since the ending felt so abrubt. After all you usually fight Dracula at the end of a Castlevania game. One thing I will say is that N64 Castlevania games have more than enough justification for being on the site, even if they don't have the same critical acclaim as their 2D counterparts. 6.1 for entertainment 7.5 for technical

Funny how this trick ended up being found. I remember mentioning to Mukki that there was a way to go OoB in the main room, but couldn't dig up the relevent video. Good job Grunz EDIT: So how much time does that trick save?

I just think it will be very difficult finding the exact spot/angle required to get up there. If it does turn out to be possible, it's going to be very hard to replicate, and even moreso optimize, in the TAS 0_0
God, I can only imagine.

Oh I bet it's possible alright, I believe with the TAS, anything can be possible...right?
When it comes to OoT, anything that seems nearly possible usually turns out to be possible. While TASing can uncover miraculous things, it can't necessarily turn straw into gold.

Child Segment is complete. An AVI might be released in a few days time, it's not possible to continue since a soft reset isn't available. I understand it exists on Linux but it needs to be ported to Windows. In the mean time I've released the cucco collecting part, which is roughly 7.5 seconds faster than my old MQ version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QTh8iTRdiw&feature=channel_page

I can't get it to run I downloaded the 64bit Windows version and got "not a valid Win32 application". And then when I downloaded the 32bit version I get all these DLL plugin errors. I tried to load Twilight Princess (the Gc version) and Metroid Prime 3 into my CD drive but my computer doesn't seem to read them.

Double Dragon 2, it seems the players are more interested in beating each other up than cleaning up the streets in record time.

I went for the Rockman run. I would have loved to have gone for SMB3, but the fact it didn't get 99 lives™ and that it has various possible improvements.

I'd prefer to see a run where 2 players are competing against each other.

There was a good point made earlier in the topic. Instead of nullifying peoples ratings e.g. all 10's meaning 5's. How about basing them on the average deviation based on the ratings of movies. That way, people who only rate the few exceptional popular games don't get penalised too much.

Refining the system would be a lot better than changing it altogether.

The main problem with Majora's Mask is that it's too short compared to OoT. Had it been twice the length, then there would be little doubt as to it's superiority. Cutscene wise MM is a lot better, but I feel OoT is a better game when it comes to a single playthrough, mainly because Hyrule is better designed when it comes to freedom and exploration. MM is much more about side quests and character development. Over the course of the 3 days you can see how different characters become affected. EDIT: The Spider House in Great Bay is good for atmosphere, mainly because you hear a lot of noises without being able to pin point it right away.
