The current reset version does not create proper AVIs.

I tried doing the super-side step as AL and it didn't work. I think its more to do with AL more clunkier movements.

Having movies starred by *highest rated* is imcompreshable to me. Its just asking to be abused.

The stop running glitch is about as displeasing as the wobbling glitch in LttP although still not in the same league. Compared to the previous run its significantly better and seemed optimal. Yes vote

I'm gonna vote 'no' on this. The run doesn't do the game any justice at all and the judges events was nothing short of a major disapointment plus the scores obtained weren't good either, if someone showed me the video on YouTube with no disclaimer, I would fully beleve this was done unassisted. Basically you should try to link up tricks more and get the most multiplier going up a vert ramp and spinning while doing grabs isn't much of a spectacle. I did like the last level though.

I've discovered a new application using a simalar technique to the mega flip, it called the Super Side-Step , the way it works is exactly the same except instead of back flipping you side-step instead, it doesn't get the height but it gives a lot more distance. You should be able to reach the bomb bag early with it and possibly skip using Epona via using it to cross the bridge.

I think Darkwing Duck would make a good replacement for the Mega Man 5 run. Like Excitebike, I would normally not choose to watch it but its surprisinly cool to watch plus it has great style espeacially when it jumps to the music.

About the superflip, does it even require an explosive. My theory is that it should work with any source of damage.

I'm pretty sure that that interest would only extend to those who actually played the Golden Sun games.

Trying to replicate the mega flip technique just causes Link or Zora Link to ground jump, it probally has no use though.

In the third cycle you forgot to add that you should try to manipulate magic jars in the Lost Woods section, also before you do the boat skip on the giant octorok you climb the small ledge before ascending the ladder, you should go round and onto that wooden walkway and climb the ladders. The other possibilty is doing the beaver race over the ranch.

Also, you have forgotten that we lose time using the MQ trials skip.
There is an alternate glitch which works in both OoT and MQ and is faster than the acute angle glitch.

I've actually been thinking it over and it may well be that the MQ version is better to use than OoT, although the adult quest does not differ because no dungeons are ever entered, but bombchus as well as the bomb bag can be obtained a lot faster. Time won/lost OoT vs MQ OoT is faster in the tree mainly because the vine glitch is a lot faster to do compared to the deku nut hover. In MQ Link doesn't need to go to the Spirit, he can head straight for Lake Hylia get the golden scale, but would lose time because he needs to sit though the King Zora speech, but he's able to obtain bombchus in Jabu, but the dungeon is a little slower overall but not by huge amounts. Dondongo is significantly faster because the bomb bag is located where Link normallly does a ground jump to reach the first switch, plus he would have a fish so he can do the bottle switch trick saving more time. I'm pretty sure this is faster than OoT's child quest now that the rod can be stollen in any version. EDIT: MQ child route would be something like KOKIRI DEKU TREE HYRULE LAKE HYLIA (get golden scale) ZORA'S DOMAIN (get bottle and sit though Zora speech) JABU ZORA'S DOMAIN (get fish) ZORA'S RIVER (warp to Lost Woods) GORON CITY DEATH MOUNTAIN DONDONGO's KAKARIKO (get bottle(unless I'm mistaken)) HYRULE (Superslide in to Gerudo) GERUDO VALLEY (Do cucco jump) GERUDO FORTRESS (Get mushroom, get caught) GERUDO VALLEY (Get dumped in river and enter...) LAKE HYLIA (Talk to Owl and warp to the entrance, Ganondorf) Best of all no saves or deaths are required so no complaining of bleepin noise.

There already was an agreement that a new catagory could do whatever it wanted bar the blj glitch.

I think this might make a good screenshot To those complaining about the newly submitted run frame wars are never meant to be pretty plus how come the NES submissions never recieved this kind of treatment.

Why is that second bottle needed for RBA? I know from messing around that other bottles can be written into empty inventory slots.

After thinking about it for a while I've decided to vote 'meh' I simply can't stand not being able to see that game properly completed with the two additional levels at the end "Finish the job James". I would like to see the game starred but sadly as disscussed in IRC I cannot except because of obvious emulation errors :'( Should it be published still... Yes

1. Thats hard even for the most simpliest of games, remember SMB1. I beleve it took 12-13 attempts to get whats accepted by many people as a perfect run. So far this game has had 9 which includes this one. Considering the days of the 16:27 run we've come a pretty damm long way. There really can't be much left to improved if any. 2. MHS tool might help somewhat, but by how much I don't know.

Whoa awesome, everything was improved from the previous movie, I really liked the choices during the Bowser waiting periods. Although I still wish you documented some of the improvements, I think the improvements I noticed were faster 30 star door glitch and the dives at the top tier of BitFS. Yes Vote

This topic is confusing ??? Are we talking about general gameplay here or when characters are moving at glitched speeds? In SM64 mario can reach speeds of 65536 units, which by then will cause the game to crash and is not noticable since he can't move anywhere unless his speed is down to about 31000. In terms of 2D gameplay I'm not sure.
