I wouldn't get too jumpy hear, although 2 people seem to claim its possible, personally I'd like to see a screen shot since its hard to tell what there talking about based on writing.

Its hard to tell, someone more familar with NES emulation might know, but the description does kind of hint that its a TAS but I couldn't say for definite.

The only known bugs that I know through Wii emulation is the music/sound based stuff, but Nintendo has made it possible to download patches for futures sake.

That "slide to the left" bug is also in Sonic 2 SMS version. I take it you're doing a testrun using DR.SMS on the GBA.

What about the classic "beats the WR" or "is impressive compared to the WR".

OK have one. This movie should be published because most people are unable to watch this game on an emulator.

Ya, you could do the cheat to select the same characters, then do it with 2 Maxes or Skate + Max or even 2 Skates, I dont know! So many possibilities... I do think, though, that Blaze and Axel are useless to speedrun.
I'd prefer if the eventual didn't do that and perhaps used Max+(x character) 2 maxes don't provide much variety.

You just did the same as in your other run, with nearly no changes visible.
You do realise there are many movie based improvements where that directly applies.

Vote: Did you like watching this movie? (Vote after watching!)
I did. That is why I've given this a yes vote. Looking forward for someone to improve this 2 hours run tho.
This is why the question is such an irony.

As much as I like the game and desperately want to see a run on it I sadly have to vote "no". The game is vastly under optimized there was a few things I noticed
Bananas are very imporant to collect during races as they increase the overall top speed of the players kart, but sometimes easy ones are missed
From what a pro told me getting a green boost while using a hover craft or plane is a bad idea, stick with the purple one, except when using the ground based zipper
I get the feeling its pointless to try and build up a boost via the blue baloons since it only makes a small difference, I think it best to always use the first boost thats collected
There seemed to be a lot of unneccessary bumping which didn't seem deliberate and was avoidable
For hover boosting while using a balloon , wouldn't it be better to hop before using a boost
The plane spin that helps Banjo go faster seemed to not be exploited enough while in some areas while it seemed to be used in areas where it not neccesscary, also there where places where Banjo bashed into the ground perhaps the spin could have helped to avoid such situations
From watching the run in general I got the impression the author did not go back any significant distances in order to make something better, I got the impression the everything whilst going around the tracks was being reacted to instantanously.

Both YouTube and Google work apart from a few very rare exceptions, I tried FileFront and you can't watch AVIs off it. I haven't tried any flash games yet. Also is there anyway to configure the controls for Wii games since, the Z button for MK64 is ^C which is entirley illogical meaning that I end up using the classic controller instead.

Just wondering is it possible to download AVIs via a Wii, the thing is even if it is possible wouldn't instantly kill all the Wii's memory? Also can you redownload games for free once you've purchased them? I tried playing MK64 using using a Gc controller and Z seems to be assigned to ^c which is entirley illogical, so sadly I have to use a classic controller which is better suited purley becuase of that.

Just testing... Seeing if I can type using a Wii remote. Although I have butterfingers on the keyboard using a Wii remote is considerably harder and slower, as well as not being able to see what I written 15-20 words ago, any tips?

God dammit the end cable isn't shaped right for being able to fit into my router, and I would have to disconnect my phone to be able to use it. The trouble Nintendo shaped there phone line wires with the plastic pushy in bit at the top while mines are shaped so that you need to push the plastic at the side, I guess now I need some adapted to overcome this hurdle :(

I don't think the steepness maters since you'd probably use the fact that it's a low ceiling, but it's slippery so the point is moot.
The ceiling seems pretty high for a low ceiling I doubt if Mario could gain any speed off it.

Excuse me, but how is "a year of work" an achievement?
Because it implies that the author has perserverence and determination.

That quote tells nothing about neither achievements nor skill. It's how you interpret it.
Its obvious that the description is trying to make a point about the authors achivement, so why bother mentioning it in the first place if its an apparently meaningless statement.

I just wondering whats the best way to connect a Wii to the internet, since I'm weighing up all the options and each one seems to have a considerable disadvantage. They are... ---------------------------------------- WiFI max Advantages: relativley easy to setup and use Disadvantages: Pricey, slow, interference problems Lan Adapter Advantages: Fast connection, nearly half the price of a WI-FI Disadvantags: Complicated and long to setup, aparaently patch cable provided is useless and would require extra money to be spent on a crossover cable USB access point Advantages: Easy to setup and relatiivley hassle free to use Disadvantages: Most expensive, reliabialty problems, restriction problems, may have to disable computers firewall. --------------------------------------- So what should I go for? I'd feel bad if I ended up buying something that turned out to be a complete waste of money.

"The author claims this movie took him a year to produce. " I'm a bit against that quote being used in the movie description, this isn't any different from claiming that playing with 2 players in hard to do. Basically my point is that a movie description should never boast about the authors achivements or skill within the context of a movie description.

Its possible to BLJ on the cannon slope outside the castle although its pretty much impossible in real time and very difficult to get while TASing, but you can get about 3-4 bljs, which is meaning less. I've gained hyperspeed at the top of the castle and managed to get down while still maintaining a little bit of speed, unfortunatley running through surface of the water doesn't seem to do anything, although my test aren't conclusive because I'm not travelling at near warp speed.

Is there not some program that can figure out the best words given the what the player has in the rack and the given board situation, I've heard many pro players use this to study and improve there game.
