Here's Sonic 1 in 33.5 mins I generally tried to play through the game progressively and show off a couple of pointless glitches to prevent anyone from getting too bored, although there was about 2-3 deaths near the end of some of the more difficult levels which quite badly slowed the run down.
I've realised something very bad now after messing about in the Toxic Dump and Abyss. the duck jump glitch IS infact possible to do, unfortunatley although currently both these stages can be improved through the use of this glitch, the game updates frames irregularly and is not hex friendly, so I'll have to leave the improvement strictly to another improvement run, I have been able to do all the current episode two glitches so far so thats good.
Guano, if you're getting Nayru's Love then its definitley advisable to do the Minuet skip and then warp to the Colosus, since you still learn the Minuet when you do the bomb hover trick into the void.
Kind of Like what Upthorn said eariler, the Labarinth zones in S1 is probally enough to cause you major headaces, the other problem is that you're not spindashing when it might help speed up 3 games as opposed to one. The only game combination I can possibly envisioning working is S2+S3, but even thats unlikely given the precision either one of them have.
Thorn: I have three or four versions of S1K (including the more recent one) and it desynchs on all of them.

Hmm... JXQ, what are these "retarted baby seals" you speak of?
btw, awesome run! Haven't watched the Knux one yet because it keeps desynching on me...but I'll wait for the AVI if (and when) it comes out.
These retarded baby seals cause up to about 30-40 frames of lag after you defeat Robotnik. Out of Interest JXQ, is that improvement on GH3 just a reduced lag after the animals leave the screen, is it any faster than my version.
So how do you control the seal lag?
Good question I don't know, I know from previous efforts that hitting the button on different frames makes no aparent difference, I think its more to do with what frame the final hit get delivered on. Although would an improvement to run be accepted if the end stage lags were reduced.
Yeah, the explanation last time in Guano's comments was bleak at best for those who were watching OOT speedrunned for the first time...and JXQ's commentary, while hilarious, was uninformative (sorry :( )... maybe Guano should do the commentary track this time round explaining everything he couldn't in the submission comments?
I'll think about writing a technical commentary if there is sufficient interest and I have time.
Do you mean subtitles to go with the game, perhaps in a seperate AVI. Too often has this request been turned down by the encoders. I wouldn't mind having another audio comentery. Someone who knows more about the game might be a better choice this time round.
Yes vote from me although oddly this run just didn't seem as entertaining as the previous run, I don't know why personally. Maybe its because the author made no attempt to be entertaining when he could have quite easilly have done something during the idle time the first two bosses jump to mind. Still keep the star there is no reason for dropping it, there is other less worthy star games than this.
If the game only required us to beat one temple in order to see off Shiek then we'd quite simply complete the Shadow Temple mainly becuase the cutscenes afterwards are much shorter compared to the Forest one. BTW Acryte I tried loading the Deku Sprout cutscene as a child, the one after the story about Links mother and it worked. The forest remains like it is when Child link is there but as soon as you re-enter the area it becomes like it normally is when your a child so there must be more to the game freezing than just the cutscene not being in the internal memory.

Having watched the AVI, it just doesn't seem very interesting and the game itself is just too incomplete and dodgy so I'll add my meh vote.
EDIT: Does this game have the highest number of non yes votes for a published run.
The thing is looking at the older submissions, they often state in the movie description "watch impressively how... blah blah blah", this is deeply misleading as TASes are supposvley meant to be entertaining and not to boast about the achivements of the author.

In my opinion this is a poor video as things like "instant reflexes" are more of a reason why to hate TASvideos. Its too much based round when slow down existed and not on more modern frame advance videos.
If you're doing a superslide then you'll need to have the hover boots on, becuase otherwise Link wil lose friction on the stairs and stop supersliding, the hardest part of all is that you'd need to superslide in a perfectly straight line otherwise Link will hug the lift and will eventually start slowly moving sideways.
For f**k sake remove the phrase "thats really hard to do"
as its deeply unfair on other 2p movies without that description and it casts a unneccesscary shadow over some of the other 1p runs.
AKA, that's an obvious pun on the previous movie's description. Funny that you haven't noticed that before, since it was like that for almost two years or so.
I haven't noticed that on the previous movie becuase I've only ever watched the previous version on YouTube.
One thing about the movie description
