Lately I have been playing more turn based table top games with friends, but sometimes they are not available to play. I did find ways to play many of the board games I enjoy online though. Perhaps some of you would be interested in playing. BrettspielWelt is one place to play. The name translates to `German board game world` as far as I know. There is a client to download, and registration is optional. BSW has about 40 different games to play, and each game has an online guide to help people with rules and the interfaces. Personally, I prefer to find the rules that come with the games on PDF file as they are not condensed, and the rules are generally better written. I find the interfaces are intuitive. I like to go to BSW to play games I know, learn about some of the finer points, and introduce myself to new games that I have not had the opportunity to play yet. It has a lot of the popular Eurogames that emphasize planning, strategy and resource management over randomness. If I find a game that I like, I will usually order a copy to introduce to friends, or if I am lucky, one of the game stores in town has a copy for sale. I think there are a few language versions available, including English. Here is a link to the site: http://www.brettspielwelt.de/ It has the client, FAQ, command lists, rules, etc. The game designers and publishers grant permission, or sometimes pay BSW to program and host the game (I think) so people can check it out. Some of the designers play as well. Some games that I like to play on it: Caylus, Yinsh, Finsture Flure(Fearsome Floors), Funkenschlag (Power Grid), Go, Dvonn, Lost Cities, San Juan, Settlers of Catan. There are still more that I am interested in trying. My user name is JoshtheGamer so if you get curious and log on, you can find me if I am on by using /tell JoshtheGamer <message> or /ghook JoshtheGamer (joins game room I am in). Users may not speak English, but most do. People on BSW are generally quite good (you may type /info username [caps sensitive] to see the number of games played and win percent). Many are friendly and are happy to help new players. I am also learning how to play Go. Does anyone else play? (I think Bisqwit likes Go if I remember right.) I am registered on IGS, one of the seemingly more popular Go servers, if anyone is interested. Username: JoshuaGo http://www.pandanet.co.jp/English/

Merlin ate too much acid as a kid. I think this TAS is enjoyable. The run, the game and the antics are pretty charming. The music is enjoyable, even if the sound effects are a bit jarring. Overall, this project turned out a lot better than I had envisioned. The pace could be slow at times, but I think the glitches more than make up for the slow parts. Nice job.

why would parappa be a good game to TAS?
I would think so. I think there's a lot of room to play around and be creative when tasing this game, and I don't think the score is very restrictive. So some crazy rapping might be entertaining, plus maybe some impressive high scores.

Did Link have enough life (3 units) to at least damage-boost off one of those four flames in the end? That's what Phil/Bax once done in the first-quest TAS I once saw =)
tried it, but i think it was slower in this movie.

First TAS I haven't fast-forwarded at all in a while - and I never have even played the original Zelda. Impressively done, even though I had no idea what was going on. Sometimes you push against a wall, hear the typical zelda tone, and walk through the wall.... Is that a normal LoZ thing or a glitch? Easy yes vote.
The second quest has 'invisible' doors. You just run into a wall sometimes where a door would be if there was a door, and eventually you can run through it :)

Longer than the time you would save boosting off the bats? o.o I believe you if you say yes.
yep :( sad but true. hell, even a speed bump that only took away 1/4 of heart (not even visible on screen) took longer to 'fill' than just not taking any damage at all.

This run was made of rock, roll, and McDonald's. -Wesley Willis (yes vote) Oh, was there a reason you couldn't damage boost off the bats after getting the raft? I'm assuming grabbing the Triforce piece doesn't fill your hearts up?
The Triforce piece does fill up health, but unfortunately takes time to do so. :(

The Demon Sword version I have is labeled U.nes (DG), and the checksum matched, and the run synched fine with FCEU 98.28. Loved your run. This is the first Demon Sword TAS I watched. The game is very suitable for tasing since the player can run through the levels with great speed and no visible time reduction at all for killing enemies (except the enemies who drop the power ups you need initially in the levels). Yay! Some of the boss fights are dry, but there's not much you can do about that. The exception here is the last boss fight which was a treat. Great job!

Even crazier than before. I didn't think an author other than Bisqwit could do it. Hats off to you, Deign.

This TAS definitely has some good moments, and the game's graphics are appealing, but I have to admit that I started to get bored towards the end. Not sure how I will vote, if I do.

I never cared for RCR runs too much, but I think this one is more entertaining than the others. Some of the antics I loved, and some I disliked, but overall, my disposition towards this movie is positive.
