Meh. Got bored into the 3rd world. There were one or 2 levels that were brilliant... but the rest were ... well stages of meh. There'd have to be a lot to make this turd shine, tbh. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Sorry for the quintuple bump, but I got the idea of possibly rerunning this with the 60 frame improvement while trying to find further improvements. In order to avoid wasting my time if nothing additional is found, I'm thinking I could TAS Pinball simultaneously as an Easter Egg. As both games have very simple controls that don't really clash, and that I doubt we will ever have a max score Pinball run on the grounds that it'd probably be incredibly repetitive, I think this could be a cool idea. Any thoughts?
Considering Pinball rolls at 1 Million... technically there is no real maxout. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I voted weak No. This was an incredibly unentertaining hack, bland backgrounds, poor design in some levels. There was the odd redeeming moment, and the awesome music ALMOST made it a Meh, but the whole file system garbage? That killed any hope there as it was a really poor implementation system and killed the momentum as it was so frequently we saw the screen. At least in most Sonic Games, the between level screen isn't often enough to annoy the viewer and make them want to throw a controller through the screen... imho. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I voted Meh. Not that bad a run.. but rather arbitrary goal. And you barely even see this completed room before you blitz on through. Not bad... but too much odd backtracking to totally consider it for a yes. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

The tricky part is.. unless they come out and say they never watched it DUE to those reasons, you can't really say that they broke the rules as there's no proof they didn't. Just skepticism. And a good hunch that it's true that they didn't. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

This is absolutely horrible. No redeeming gameplay quality... no text means it makes even less sense [even with the description]... the game literally drags on, and even with the minigames it ends up being a pile of crap. Absolutely shocking that such a senior member would submit this so honestly and it NOT be April Fool's Day when at least it'd have SOME merit for a Meh to Yes vote due to it being a prank. I am sure someone will totally love this... and that someone will probably be a young sibling of someone watching. Honestly though.. the only part that was almost even REMOTELY entertaining was the one part in Chapter 3 where for a few seconds it looked like she was sent to fetch a bomb! I was actually giddy thinking the game had such a hidden dark potential... then I realized it was a freaking PLUM! Killed my spirits right there. No Vote Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

This has been one of the WORST games I've ever seen.. and I've played Cheetahmen II happily. [Which is amusing since the first level USES the music from Cheetahmen II] Utterly boring, almost nothing to differ it from a normal player who has skill, unoriginal music [Unlike most hacks with different music, it fails to work here] and the graphics... ugh. All of these things made this an absolutely horrible choice for a game, let alone a TAS. Definite No vote. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

This doesn't look great luck-wise; there's a lot of zig-zagging to get items. Voting no because luck manipulation could probably make this substantially faster. EDIT: Wait, are the courses the same every time? I remember that the main mode is procedurally-generated, but if the courses are the same each time, my vote changes to yes.
The levels for time attack are static, so never changing the layout of clocks and such. I absolutely loved this! Considering how much I've played Mr. Driller on my Dreamcast, this brought fond memories. Very well run, lots of fun and breathtakingly fast. Definite Yes vote from me! Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I bought a PS3 from someone from NintendoAge after figuring out whether I'd want a PS3 or 360. PS3 won me over for a lot of reasons... Bluray player, downloadable PS1 Classics, the fact I can swap out the HDD and pop in one of my own and get it to run [Backwards compatible model didn't hurt my cause either].. definitely good when you wanna download lots. And with the fact Sony has a bunch of Japanese PS1 classics released as well, it definitely was an awesome bonus for me. It runs stuff off my PC as a server, which is awesome when entertaining in the living room :) As someone pointed out, a bit finicky, but hey, so am I! :) WiFi being free was also a nice bonus. Very easy to setup out of the box and run with it. 3D Dot Game Heroes, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4 are 3 solid titles, the latter which amazed me with how good it ended up being. Honestly, the only thing the 360 had that the PS3 didn't for me was a few Japanese shmups [region free ones at that!] and that one Castlevania game... which looks less and less interesting the more gameplay I see of it. x.x;; Never owned an XBox to begin with... have played a 360 numerous times.. and while the controller was kinda cool... PS3 just had enough for me to be content. But as always, opinion will vary. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

This wasn't a bad superplay, but hardly what I'd really call a TAS. Entertaining and all... but nothing I haven't seen from combo videos over the past several years. Nothing really glitchy or such. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I seem to recall the credits can be zoomed through a lot quicker then that... and the fact that none of the names were shot? I'm holding off voting until at least that can be explained as it honestly will affect my decision. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

You are quite right about SDW. I'd honestly throw that on a cart and happily play that.. but Kaizo... um no. Nach's reasoning was very well thought out and explained and I wish to applaud that. It summates things a lot better then a lot of us could. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

To be fair, it's not really overdone because it was the first hack to do it.

May have been the first.. but it's still... overdone. As in within the confines of this hack and not in regards to any predeccessor or emulation/mimicry from other hack designers after this hacks release. I hope that explains it a bit better. Gsus has claimed that he has saved another frame in BitFS...we eagerly await his .m64, until this is sorted out, I suggest avoiding encoding/publishing this.
I entirely reiterate my point of there being a 2 week period before submitting a Mario 64 run upon completion, due to this very reason. :) Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

There has been 4 frames of improvement found, (1 on the DDD skip, and 3 in BitFS) we are working to include these in our run now.
How did I know there'd be another improvement coming.. x.x;; I swear.. there should be a fortnight moratorium when ready to submit a SM64 run, and intense testing during that fortnight.. and if no additional frames saved.. THEN submit! :) Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Granted it'd eat up frames like a bitch, is there not a way to mess around with the ? boxes on Valley of Bowser 4 via a Koopa shell or spring and be able to manipulate a key there too? 500-1000 frames extra to add another exit to this already incredible run would be awesome!
Unfortunatly, to current knowledge, no. There are no ? boxes that could possibly contain a key, and not a single dragon coin in the level. Since you can't corner clip to the key (and would still need a way out anyway), it's been deemed impossible unless a Yoshi-less item swap is found. D:
Well there was the insane ? box creation glitching.. and I thought I saw it pop a key up once.. so hence me presuming it might be workable in some context. Ah well, I figured it to be a longshot.. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Outside of that, this was absolutely incredible, and the fact there was a YT link showing this and the former run compared, it made it even more obvious! I am blown away such simple things like swimming slightly differently would make such an impact on the run! Wish there was some way to figure out how to make the remaining exits plausible under the circumstances. Not that I'd consider the ! palaces like Yoshi... at least the Red and Blue ones of course.. Who took MS Paint and colored Mario's overalls every single frame of this TAS? Wait.. this was legitimately Luigi the entire time? Definitely fooled me as it looks way too much like the other SMAS run.. x.x; Sorry.. not enough to classify it yes.. brought to a Meh though for effort. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin
