I'd love to get a script for this badboy, so I can figure out exactly how many actions/moves can be made with a torch before it burns out, as I recall some actions don't diminish the torch while others do. Hands down, the TAS of the Year in my books! I'd almost dare say, of the Decade. It honestly seemed a LOT longer then 28 minutes and believe me, it was in a GOOD way! The amount of action and awesomeness packed into less then half an hour puts most movies this year to absolute shame! Definitive Yes vote! Mr. Kelly R. I voted Meh, and believe me it was a very tough call on this one. This game to begin with [thanks for the encode Aktan!].. well it's crap. You can sugar coat it all you want.. but yeah. The music is abysmal, especially the end of each round music which got annoying VERY fast. This looked like Batman meets Super Mario Land, but without the coolness of SML. But, to counter it, aside from most levels looking just horrendously boring [not that you didn't do your best to correct that], the main ones that got me leaning to an almost Yes were all of Round 3, as despite knowing the plan of attack, it was still made entertaining, especially the twitching to the music, and 4-2 was entertaining with the way the batarangs flew around you and took out turrets with impunity. Unfortunately those were the only good parts that made it worth while. I don't think it was the best choice of games.. but you did do your best.. but this just managed to eke underneath a Yes unfortunately... but it was close. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Very nicely done! I've only played the PC version, so I will admit that since it's been a LONG time, this was a touch confusing. I'm sorry but this was absolutely boring. I got as far as level 12 before I couldn't stand to watch anymore. If there was more variety to the levels.. more things to accomplish... SOMETHING.. then it'd be more interesting. There was the odd moment where you had to admit brilliance.. but outside of that brief moment... absolutely boring. I'm sorry... this just is not one of those games that is best suited as even a playaround. I did vote Meh, as there were some genuine o.O??? moments via glitches, which did actually make things interesting.. but even with the premises you chose.. meh. Not that there's many ways you can make this game entertaining. Now if there was a way to glitch through the wall barriers.. THAT would be impressive and worth a technical upgrade. Mr. Kelly R. Thank you so much Flygon for all you are doing with publishing of movies and ensuring they get onto Archive.Org for future archival needs. It's definitely a boon to have that option available when no one else is seeding.. or you want the old version to compare to the new one. Also makes it easy to snag all the submissions of a platform for personal archival and not have to worry about 50 billion versions of an emu and the input files. ^^; Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I've been playing through this a bit again and I think despite it being kinda slow and linear to a degree, it has potential for a good TAS. The Ninja is fast as heck and has awesome weapons [but the Priestess has a bug that could make her INVINCIBLE!!], you can skip a lot of storyline crap by simply ignoring things, and there's apparently a way to spam with Herbs so you could take a 255hp hit with only 40hp and the Herbs will kick in within a manner to save your booty. Not to mention the wicked throwback abuse you can use with enemies as the Ninja. [Some decent distance to be thrown back in a lot of cases] An Arcade [read Taito Legends disc] speedrun is found starting here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSnrBgdAFQo and a PCE Long Play is seen here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r01gcvFRKLc As well, you can control 2 characters at once, but speed difference may kill entertainment.
