I'm sorry... but this is absolutely horrible... it is BEYOND boring, even though you did try to clearly keep things interesting and there were some interesting shortcuts.. but it's simply a poor mode choice that is way too excrutiatingly painful to watch... even for such a short movie. I actually much agree with Angerfist. It wasn't too bad to start, and looked interesting, but after the first boss, it went downhill very quickly for me. It honestly felt very repetitive with almost no break to it and I ended up skimming with the Fast Forward button a lot :( Sorry, but this is a No Vote from me. :( Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I have to vote no... that Pipe Glitch ruined the whole thing for me.. it was more or less.. "Ho hum, they're doing it again.." the entire time.. and as a result, waiting for the rest of the levels to be played normally.. just lost their luster. :( Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I guess I'm going to be the one to hate... I voted Meh.. and here's why. It appeared to be an interesting concept for a game... it's played well, obviously... but... well... alright... that bloody climbing glitch actually bored me to tears! That with certain other moments coming off as far too repetitive... it made my decision VERY difficult, so I actually thought this over for 2 days. It's not a bad movie perse... just honestly didn't totally thrill me. Not bad enough to rank No, but not great enough for a Yay... And I have tried watching this 2 more times to ensure it wasn't me just being tired the first time :( Sorry... but unlike most cowards, I figured I'd be honest about my vote, especially since it stands out. I really fail to understand how anyone is able to view this... I mean it only goes to 7.63 on the clock and stops and shows a screen with 3 options to click on. What REALLY pisses me off, is another video from same said site played FLAWLESSLY first time I clicked on the play button... and went all the way. The kicker to me? Every freaking person links to the video on that site and no one is kind enough to actually mirror the damned thing! .......... I really want to see this... Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I honestly don't know why someone would TAS this.... believe me, I watched an INP that hit 47 Million points... it WAS interesting, don't get me wrong... but only because of the insane speed and it wasn't a TAS. And I did use Fast Forward after 5 mins of max speed... and even then it took what seemed to be forever... If this game had a finite goal way easier to achieve, I'd say go for it... but since it doesn't :( Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

This is a no brainer... definitely a star! I'm not huge into Super Metroid, but this definitely kept my attention the whole way... and the whole escaping Baby Metroid off the hope was just brilliant! I honestly feel this is one of those games that is DEFINITELY NOT made for TAS'ing by any means... I've been trying to figure out how even a 2 Player run could salvage this idea... and I'm drawing blanks. Believe me, after having to verify a run on this game that scored just over 1 Million points, just to roll the thing... it'd take a miracle to make me watch again... willingly... Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Alright, since there's a record coming that apparently beats ZipLock's time of 4:19, and on a console no less, it's got me thinking. Now, I would not be at liberty to divulge any of the tactics in the video without the gamers permission, and apparently I may not have to if he submits it to SDA as he commented... But thoughts come to my mind... Now, the game gets considerably easier the 2nd time around.. ie. Beat the game once and you can start over again on a 2nd loop and apparently you don't get attacked as often and other things.. What gets me curious is... is there a way that this kind of lax condition can be achieved from a soft reset or do you HAVE to beat the game for it to go softer on you. [I'm curious for other reasons as well... but I mean the idea kinda works with Friday the 13th in regards to being able to soft reset till you get a proper setup.. but then you can get it via Power-On as well, due to it being entirely random] Does anyone have an idea of how many shots can be fired at Jaws as he makes a sweep...? And a rough idea of how many hits are required to tank the bastard per Power Level? Perhaps he gets easier depending on the Power Level? I dunno.. just some random thoughts on how it may be possible to get a TAS for this lower then 4:19. That and... well, my hex editing skills suck, and doubly so for what I'd be looking for, so I figured someone may get interested and find out. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Um... dayum?! That was INCREDIBLE! I was entertained from start to finish, especially watching the CPU get hit so hard, they flew through the screen to your side for more easy pickings! I'm sorry man.... but unfortunately, despite your fine work.. I honestly have to vote No. This was one of the most boring movies I've watched in a LONG time.... not that you honestly didn't do your best to make it eventful and interesting. You do get mad props for that! The fact that there's virtually no music to this, the aesthetics are essentially nothing, those cars, despite being manipulated well, still seem to take forever to come out... The boss killing was impressive, I will give points there... but I mean I felt the need to fast forward with this... and that's not good. Good work on it... bad choice for a game to TAS :( [Even if it IS hard as hell to beat!] Simply not enough going on to keep one interested. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin
