If we would have the hookshot, we could get OoB with my trick to clip OoB off the mini boss and get into bombchu hovering from there we would only 5 explosives or something ;)

great fairy warp maybe one bombchu, but that's all. inverted stone tower should be possible with 2 explosives now I have a few nice ideas for the stone tower boss key skip and if my math is right, we'll get it down to 12-13 explosives :D

thanks petrie this will also help me to understand the timing if I watch it frame by frame ;) the mega flip acts like a normal backflip, right, so it looses all its speed again. that means, that that the best choice for the boss key skips is still a bomb boost in the end

I figured out a way to get OoB in nearly every fucking building, but there was nothing else I asked millions times for a program already, but nobody was able to help me maybe a Debug rom can do somebody once talked with a game hacker for me in order to find wrong warps in OoT, but the hacker said, that it isn't possible he knew the placement of every building etc., so I'm pretty sure, that there's a way

here's a little trick to reduce the number of needed explosives for stone tower even more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVYT2Q0RTQc I also show, that there's no need for a roll to change your camera angle while bombchu hovering. just do a sideways bombchu hover and you can change your angle directly afterwards ;) edit: here's the alternate stone tower boss key skip I talked about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABbrgB0iteU it only requieres 18 explosives ;)

what SL did was just a frame perfect recoil flip + a jump and it really gives you more distance, but there are nearly no places to use it ;) @slowking we needed 13 extra bombs for the old optimized boss key skip and there are only 2 rooms in the whole temple, that contain bomb drops: 1. mirror room 2. pre gomess room both only contain 2 bomb drops. 2x5=10 my better optimized version requiers only 9 extra bombs, so we have to only visit the rooms for the bomb drops one time ;) oh, and with my new ultimate GBT trick, skipping the zora mask would save about 10-15 minutes now ;) it would skip learning the song, playing the song, collecting the eggs, getting any bottle, bringing the zora guy out of the water, playing SoH and the zora mask cutscence. our whole route is based on collecting the eggs, if you didn't notice it yet ;)

I've just had a little idea for an improvement of our current route! Instead of getting those 10 bombs for the boss key skip from the mirror room, we get them from the pre-gomess room. this is a bit slower, but then we can still get 100 ruppies by shooting those 2 skull things with light arrows ;) What do you think?

I decided to optimize the Inverted Stone Tower Skip even more. With some logical geometry thinking and my recent hover findings I was able to do it with 21 instead of the 25 petrie used! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VUXOeS7tHc now we don#t have to go back to the mirror room to get more bombs anymore :) edit: I've discovered way that uses only 20-22 explosives should I also mak a video about it? it uses a different OoB

You need the hookshot to get up there. without it you will truely need 300 chus.
oh, and I have a theory to skip the sonata of awaking! the deku palace is under the woodfall map, when you haven't played the song yet. I have some doubt, that the loading zones are already there, but it's worth trying it another problem is, that link can't be in OoB water and the OoB water under the area is really, really deep. the temple is in the middle, so it doesn't seem to be possible to get over to it
This will only ad time, not save it. - The way from the palace to the temple isn't that far so it probably won't warant the lost explosives - you need to go the way to get the warp-song - you need to activate the owl in front of the tempel to get back here later and to get from here to Snowhead.
sonata skip would be for low% however, I can't get it to work ok, beavers race is out of the door.... and mukki used the hookshot 7 times in his TAS to climb stone tower ;) stone tower is the place, that forces us to get hookshot or blast mask in low% all the other things can be done with bombs ;)

the first song of double time should be played directly at the beginning of the 2nd cycle we have to arrive at the ranch as late as possible we have to think about something different, too. we have no goron mask and gilded sword, so what are the best strats for 1st wizrobe battle, odolwa, the pirate's battle, light arrow battle and the bow battle I used a strategy in my testings for the bow fight, that is only 1-2 seconds slower than using a deku stick or goron mask in the new route aren't that convenient places to get sticks anymore, so what strats are the best ones?
