Why don't we just use the original version, Mobile Electric Beast Telefang? Preferably the Speed version as we want to go as fast as possible.

I wonder: Whether it'd be faster to jump on or hammer a switch. If making negative choices in decisions that do not affect the outcome in any way is quicker sometimes.

Sometimes I can't help but wonder if using Pokemon Ruby would be faster. After all, the Teams' bases have different layouts and there's Groudon instead of Kyogre.

After you're through with this, do you plan on doing Vectorman 2?

Why would you do this version of Final Fantasy IV and the one for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System? Remakes are generally discouraged unless they're very different from the original.
Ahh. Heres why I would choose GBA remake. 1. Battle backgrounds are better designed. 2. You can "run" in town saving time. 3. It is the "hard" version of the game.
The first is an irrelevant point. The second, however, is a pretty good reason. The third is nice.

Actually, Wumple's just a Bug Type. It becomes part Poison Type though if it evolves into Cascoon.

I can see how you would confuse Wurmple with Weedle. They are similar in the fact that they both start with Poison Sting. And they are both Worms. ;3

A very unique game this is. I'd dearly like to see a TAS of this.

5573 re-records for a run that's 4 minutes and 1 second long? Yikes, I'd hate to see how many you would do for a full run of this game.

And the SEGA screen should have been more entertaining, but you didn't do anything at all there.
If Vectorman moved at all at that point, wouldn't the title screen be delayed?

So this teleport glitch can't be done on the other two? If that's so then would a glitched run and a non-glitched run both be accepted?

Actually, the Move Tutor appears after you defeat the Elite Four.

Thankfully, this game has even more revamps and other stuff than its predecessors so a run might be accepted: You have to battle both Groudon and Kyogre; Layouts of some places have been changed; Two-on-two battles happen more frequently and randomly. Say, do you get credits again if you beat all challenges in the Battle Frontier?

Hmmm... Pokémon Crystal has even fewer differences from the previous versions than Pokémon Yellow so a run for it might not be accepted: Animated sprites at the start of each battle would cost the run a few frames at a time; The subplot about Suicune; You have to do a quiz to get the Rising Badge; A Move Tutor appears twice a week in Goldenrod City, teaching the three useful moves, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt and Ice Beam yet for a fee of 4000 Game Corner coins. Very intriguing.

I have to wonder whether a run of this game would be accepted. Let's see, the differences: You start off with a Pikachu every time; Every so often, you battle Jessie and James; Trainers and Gym Leaders sometimes have different Pokémon; Many Pokémon can learn new and/or different moves; Some major glitches from Red and Blue were fixed but new ones were created. Well, it wouldn't hurt to try.

Mew really isn't any good unless you teach it TMs because it only knows Pound.
I fail to see how since, though Pound is a weak attack, this is one of the most powerful Pokémon at level 100 so it should be able to knock out anything in your way...except for Ghosts types.

Don't forget all the charmanders you can get in the volcano beside the Moltres egg. How many is it? 7? Anyways, if you play the pokeflute, they all line up and march, which is really cool.
There are six actually. And it's worth more to throw an apple and take a picture of them with the shot centered on a leaping Charmander. On the same level, you can get a great photograhp of the three Vulpix by leading them behind you with apples. Around the spot where the Charmander and Magmar are together, the three Vulpix will stay out on certain spots and do poses of joy. You can't make them move anymore so snap a photo! Of course, it might not quite be the fastest...

Do a few rental Pokémon really do have one-hit-knockout moves (i.e., Fissure, Guillotine and Horn Drill)? Maybe we can avoid using those ones. Although, we must remember that Guillotine and Horn Drill won't affect Ghost types and Fissure won't affect Flying types.
