Yes, I used the wrong video plugin for the screenshots. But the encode is rendered with Glide, so it's fine.

The encode should be up in about 80 minutes.

puisque l'idée est lancée : qqn serait volontaire pour commenter mes TAS? Je pourrais p-e m'y joindre
J'aimerais beaucoup, puisque je n'en ai jamais vu un seul. (shame on me) Seul hic, ils semblent tous très long (sauf Phantasy Star). Je ferais bien phantasy star. Je pourrais seulement t'accompagner et te poser des questions de newbie tout au cours de la run, si c'est ce que tu recherches!

I think that there should be an addition to the guidelines (or even the rules) that if there are more than x authors, they should agree on a shorter group name. (The actual authors can then be put in the movie description.)
What is the problem here? Only the video file name?

Try using this tool, Ogre. It's really simple! http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13567

Going to sound like an ass here, but what happened to the encode?
Here is a youtube encode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xL6VE_5PddM The downloadable encodes are currently being made by Aktan. They should be up in the next days, along with the publication, I assume. ^o^/

Update: Recently, MKDasher worked on a lag counter for mupen64-lua (only supports 30FPS for now; if you find a way to make it work for 60FPS, don't be afraid to post in this thread). Here is the lua script: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55220482/LagCounter30FPS.lua See it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4CyfFBX8vo Like other emulators, whenever you load a previous state, the lag counter reset to whatever value it had on that frame. You need to record/playback a movie for it to work (because mupen). Please give any feedback/bugs report in this thread.

I totally second this. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Tyler: do you agree with everything said by Carcinogen? If so, I think your movie may be a bit too sub-optimal.

Are there flawless plugin settings to use for this game as of yet? Even with a non-Mupen emulator?
Try glide64 'final': http://down.emucr.com/v2/tz4cxeaimdy3t23 http://www.emucr.com/2011/12/glide64-final-10th-anniversary.html

There's a mupen-lua @ http://code.google.com/p/mupen64-rr/downloads/detail?name=LuaExtension_r34_bin.zip&can=2&q= The script is rather simple; since SM64 runs at 30FPS/60VI/s, you just need to make it add a lag frame when VI/s go up by 3 instead of 2 each frame.

Sadly, with the advent of scripts and bots, the "most rerecords" statistic has become practically obsolete because it doesn't tell much. As much as I would hate to see it go, perhaps it should be dropped from that page. (The list could still be available, just not listed there, because it says little about anything.) The "fewest rerecords" could still be informative, but would feel odd without its counterpart... (I know I could remove it myself because I have editor rights, but this was kind of a semi-poll to see people's opinions. Possibly wrong thread for that, so I apologize if it's disruptive.)
Re-record count is not really precise. You can always hex the number of re-records and change it. Both the "fewest" and "most" re-records page aren't useful in any way, to be honest. But I'd still prefer to leave it up since it can bring attention to certain bot-assisted movies that are worth reading about.
