Golden Axe 2 have as serious glitch. It is possible obtain infinite magic in this game, and I think that this is the form more quick for finish the game, using magics constantly, what certain is going to diminish the quality of the speed run. The question is: is better a flat and quick TAS or a slow one with more quality? Note, Im not plan to make TAS for Golden Axe 2!!! My intention is only demonstrate this bug for yours! Description: 1- Kill first boss, press and hold the "A" button 2- Continue holding "A" button in bonus stage, not press any other button 3- In next screen release "A" button 4- WOW, its work!!! http://www.freepgs.com/gamevideos/tas/GA2_by_Neofix_INFINITE_MAGIC.zip The movie demonstrates the glitch.

People sorry but do not I have plans for make speed runs for the "Golden Axe 2" or "GA3". In the moment I am working in another game of Genesis.. (Secret) I prefer platform games...

in english: 1- Yes it is possible to hit 2 enemies at the same time in the level 1. But for that is necessary positions-them joined, what is going to lose a long time. 2- The strike of the "downwards sword thrust" alone is used in groups of enemies more strong, does not do difference uses-her in the level 1, of that no is possible sets right-them in the corner of the screen, and positions-them joined would do me lose time too. in portuguese: 1- Sim é possivel acertar 2 inimigos ao mesmo tempo na fase 1. Mas para isso é preciso posiciona-los juntos, o que faz perder muito tempo. 2- O golpe da "espada para baixo" só é usado em grupos de inimigos mais fortes, não faz diferença usa-la na fase 1, alem disso não é possivel acerta-los no canto da tela, e posiciona-los juntos me faria perder tempo tambêm.

Update. Levels 3 and 4 completes, 72 seconds more faster than obsolete movie. :P

Update: Level 2 complete. The movie is now 33 seconds (or 0,55 min) more faster than CherryMay version.

in portuguese: FODA vou responder para vc traduza por favor... Para comparar 2 filmes, primeiro eu gravo um video AVI do filme a ser batido, o recorde anterior... Gravo ele com input e time visiveis... Depois abro no "Virtual Dub" que é um programa de edição de video. Abro o emulador e começo a gravar meu filme. Agora eu posso comprar 2 filmes "graficamente", e analizar as diferenças de tempo entre eles... Juntando isso a tabela do EXCEL tenho um metodo excelente para comparar filmes.
