Yeah, you should see my fingers sometimes they're all over the keyboard when loading/saving haha, also took me some time to learn everything, etc.

I've only just got down to Brinstar, since I haven't been home and I had to fix this Arbetsfrmedlingen thing today :P EDIT: Heh, now I'm at Kraid's. I work slow and use a lot of reloading because I suck with my keyboard ^^ walljumping is cake now though.

Just watched it and it was certainly very refreshing to see a new route. While it's not a new find or anything, I've personally never seen it like this or done it before so that was nice :) I was also thinking that maybe Phantoom can be killed faster by manipulating your luck so that you'll get Super Missiles from every blue fire you "kill"? And is the Varia Suit needed when you already got Gravity? Otherwise it's pretty much as fast as possible, but will it be faster than the "normal" route in the end? Hm, I don't know.

Lazy or ignorant? :P Http://www.Gamefaqs.com Murder Beam By equiping all five beams at the game time you can kill Motherbrain pretty easily. To equip all five beams at the same time go into the equipment screen in the Sub-Menu. You will notice that the Spazar Beam in unequiped because the Plazma Beam cancels out the Spazar. Equip the Spazar Beam (thus unequiping the Plazma Beam) then move the curser over to one of the Boot Upgrades. Hit Left and the A Button at the same time to equip the Plazma Beam. If you did it right then the letters Var should appear next to the Plazma Beam. To complete the glitch you must first charge your beam before equiping all five beams. After your beam is charged all the way , equip all five beam the way I decirbed above the fire it at say Motherbrains head (when it's laying on the ground). If you did it right then an orange orb should stay behind and contanly hit Motherbrain. Equip your beams reqularly. NOTE: This beam can crash your game if not done correctly. Contributed By: Magic Mario Edit: I'm going to check out the smv now

I've finished the game on lvl 7 difficulty (no save states) with only one continue. That's pretty much my only good "achievement".

Here's a one battle sample of what I'm talking about: http://www.feitclub.com/sf2.zip Ken vs Ryu, 2-0, both perfect. Timer was on 88 and 90, faster than any of those submitted. Why? Because of the combos, and not particularly advanced ones.
Gee, you are my new god. WOW WOW WOW. Bah, don't show me some obvious crap -- do that on the highest difficulty then. __I'm__ surely done with the game, and I'm not going to press load state 500times for one punch just so that the highest computer didn't manage to block the attack, which is what I think you have to do if you want it to look like that clip up there (I doubt it's possible to duplicate that on the highest comp.)

Unfortunately, some people here just LOVE to complain and never congratulate or say someting encouraging. I liked the vid too.

Meh, you're worse than Linkin Park fans. No one said anything nice or whatever about my run, I made three movies before doing this one which took a few hours and this topic and replies is what I get? I'm sure that most people wouldn't really be inspired to listen to anything more about how much it sucks, etc.
If I where at my former shape I would have performed a amazing run.
There's no limit on the re-records. Go ahead.

If this is accepted, then you guys who are complaining should take on the challenge yourself. I don't mind if someone will perform a faster completion. I already went on to a new game instead and I doubt I'll get back to SFII because of all these "OMG j00 didn't use 436785 impossible combos that can't be done in SFII" and "man I can finish all rounds in 10Ss11!". I'm done with this topic.

I've made a 27 minute one, but I haven't submitted that one because it is very flawed in some areas.
Sounds like it can be even faster :)
