This doesn't seem to be 100% optimised, I am sure there is room for some improvement here and there (some flaws are obvious, and some have already been pointed out). However I liked it, even in its current state, so I gave it a yes vote.

You do realize that you can still vote on submissions even after the movie has been published, yes?
I know. But since it makes no sense to vote on a movie which was already published, those votes are the minority. Most people vote on submissions while they're on the workbench, for a good reason. See, Dooty's post above is a good example of what I implied before. Some people don't check the forum 24/7, but if a movie stays in the workbench long enough, more yes votes are gotten eventually. Which is good.

A case: this movie reaches the credits while playing, but the player still beats the game afterwards.

Hm, this needs 34 more.
To be fair, that submission had been on the workbench for 57 days, 23 hours, 38 minutes, and 13 seconds, so many people had the chance to vote on it over the weeks, even ones who log in only once per month or something.

I can agree, this can be the new any% (not obsoleting the other one of course), but the other one can't be renamed to "beats Bowser" since there are two of them (unless the 100% stays labeled as 100%, leaving the potential gray area of a run that gets all the exits AND uses this glitch to get to the "the end" screen). Or, call this low%?

Congratulations and good luck! marzojr: if Tails and Knuckles are needed at the same time, I'm sure you know better than anyone else which hack should be used here ;) (yes it is semi-ot but I would love to see a 100% run of Sonic 2 Heroes or of the upcoming Sonic 1&2 Heroes)

"ram corruption" is a bit too generic indeed, but it's also hard to find an effective name, correct but also not too technical. An univoque alternative could be simply "game mode corruption", but I'm afraid it's too technical. The upside is that it would still allows for a future obsoletion if it will turns out other game modes are faster such as 27.

I wouldn't want to download any executables from this website. I like the TASes you guys produce, but as for trusting you enough to put a .exe on my hard drive? Nahhhhhhhh...
What about the emulators? How can you TAS without downloading an emulator in the first place? If you trust the emulator (since most if not all of them come from this website) you can trust the TAS@home program. Or, did you download the emulator source code, checked it all to see if it's malicious, and compiled it by your own? Very well, ask the TAS@home to be open source (and multi-platform too while that we're at it) and compile it too by your own. I don't see the problem, you say you don't trust this website, but your logic doesn't work.

Too similar to the original, and it seems played worse than it (even though I'm not an expert so I might be wrong). I don't like to cast no votes to otherwise enjoyable movies, but this wouldn't add anything worth mentioning, it's Super Mario Bros all over again, so it's a no vote indeed.

I... don't even know what to say. One of the most wtf-esque movies ever. Obvious yes vote, as it is now (I like the way it ends). Of course as a separate category, don't redo the mistake of Super Mario Land 2's obsoletion.

I wouldn't mind to run a TAS@home program on my computer, as long as it can properly handle multi-core processors. The last time I tried SETI@home and other @home things they had poor support for multi-core processors and ran on only one of my cores.

I agree with most of you. - there is no harm in having more than 4 branches. - even if there is harm in having more than 4 branches, this submission isn't the one that should pay for it, but one of the in-game and real-time. - but really there is no harm in having more than 4 branches.

I vote for this being part of the movie description in the publication (when/if this submission is accepted, of course).
