For you, it's not a big deal that a valuable contributor is no longer posting here. For me, it is. Clearly, we have different standards.
I 200% agree with IronSlayer here. Good contributors should be encouraged no matter what, instead of being kicked away because of few questionable issues. To be entirely honest I was very surprised when mmarks was banned, because he provided lots of good encodes. Sure he did something wrong, but permabanning such a helpful guy, without even a warning, just seems even wronger to me. Even the "we don't accept TASes from banned members" seems to be a violations of the "judge the TAS, not the TASer" rule, but as IronSlayer said, clearly we have different standards.

I'm not sure what I just watched but it deserves a yes vote.

Sonic VR It's a hack, which already makes watching the movie file a pain. Yet the encode doesn't show up for 5 days, and the encode isn't embedded into the OP.
The encode was posted several days before in the Genesis subforum: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=288037#288037 Furthermore, hacks of Sonic games no longer rely on IPS patches since several years ago, as they're based on disassemblies. Even the worst Sonic hack in the world comes in the form of a full rom hosted on sharing services such as mediafire / megaupload these days, and the best hacks (such as Sonic VR) are hosted on the Sonic Retro Wiki itself, removing the need to hunt for a specific Sonic rom and a specific patch file. That said, popular games get encodes quite soon nowadays, sometimes you can find one in the second or third post of the Workbench thread, mere hours after the submission was posted.

This is good but not fast paced enough for me, 19 minutes are too many, I was bored after 8 at most. However I respect the work which was put into this submission, so meh vote.

Yes, the current screenshot is good and I like it, however it might be a little of a spoiler, showing the major feature of this TAS. I suggested this one instead because, instead, it is unexpected but it doesn't spoil anything. The viewer who never saw the other movie will say "what? he is dying, in the first level? what's going on?" and watch the movie. But it was only an idea :D

I confirm this syncs in V21. Obvious yes vote, I can't believe this movie could be still improved. I would like to suggest a screenshot such as this: (1277 bytes)

Besides, that video runs at ~1fps, while it would be nice to use at least 30 for Desert Bus.

For some reasons this game reminds me of Prince Of Persia, which is not a bad thing. Yes vote.

This is excellent, thanks for posting! Some of the levels look like real time strategies played perfectly, but some of the other levels are totally abused. And you say this is only a WIP? Please finalise it and submit, I love this. By the way, not sure if you're doing this in your video hold any button in the filesystem menu (all of them) and the text writes fasterly. Great stuff.

Thanks for the encode, Canar! This TAS seems to be very well done, so I'm voting yes. It would be good to see something sweet and friendly on TASvideos for a change.

This is not bad, but the other version was better. I give this a meh, and I confirm my yes for the other version. I wouldn't be disappointed if you decide to publish this one, but I prefer the other one.

Gentlemen, ColinC10 released another hack, and once again it's made of puzzles and challenges (40 this time), so I think it would be well suited for a TAS. It can be found here http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=26432 Some of the later levels aren't easy at all, I look forward to see some TASes of this!

Definite yes vote, this game is fun. And this TAS now contains glitches too, which makes it even better.
