Speaking of Denki Blocks, there's also Go! Go! Beckham! Adventure On Soccer Island

Ah, I didn't know that. Well, I've still stated all my other reasons.

I just watched both of the runs, and I have to say that I preferred Phil's overall. His style was a bit better, with more precise jumping and some boss fights. Also he actually does things while waiting for the end level doors to open instead of just holding right until the beak opens. I did enjoy how Sleepz got a shyguy embedded in the wall at the end of one stage, but Phil managed to revive a defeated Birdo on another, so I think that wins out. I'm going to vote yes now.

I got 6-4, 6-5, and 6-10 done so worlds 7 through 9 are open to me. I also finished 7-1, but I'm going to sleep now.

Right now I've got all of worlds 1 through 4 solved, and all but 5-8 and 5-10 in world 5. I'm avoiding using the hints since it gives a 50% point penalty.

Well, you could always go for a max score run. Also, since there are two tables, you'd want to pick the one with the faster to beat special stage areas. I think this would be the blue table with the Meowth and Seel bonuses, because of the multipliers.

Just of note, with 100% I can get a steady average of 160 coins before they reset.

The mouse functions can't be recorded in the current movie format, so I think the option was disabled to prevent people from trying.

The reason recent game music sucks is that it's mostly ambient, and there no real melody to speak of.

But now there might finally be an interesting use of the hold camera!

In all honesty though, you might as well just get a real Saturn. They're cheap enough to find on ebay (10-20 dollar range, bit more for a few games with it), and it's not difficult at all to run burned discs on it.

Well, my point is the 3:37 run already exists, and while it hasn't been submitted yet, it still means this movie is worse than what's available.

I vote no because I know that soon there will be a submission with a time of 3:37.

And now for a reply a bit more serious: The systems I would suggest are NES or Gameboy (not GBA) since they have less buttons and therefore fewer actions to worry about. I'd suggest Genesis too, but people seem to have more desync issues with it. A game that I suggest is Shantae for the GBC. It's a great platformer with enough variety in it and nobody seems to have vested any interest in it yet.

Well, I don't know if I'm going to get this run, but the fact that you're going to start on your Ocarina improvement makes me happy enough.

See, this is why I download my torrents through another computer running Azureus. I don't have to worry about cpu usage since it's dedicated to that anyway.

Yeah, now it makes a bit more sense what you were asking. Good for testing routes and keeping track of which is the faster method.

Yes vote from me. How many extra lives do you gain from those 99 hit combos anyway? Seeing as I remember your score reaching 30(0?) million, and you get an extra life every 100 thousand points... O_O

Those look awesome! All you need to do now is extract the sound effects and music, and have them play in sync with the action. You can use the display in the top left to get the breaking sounds for the off-screen items.
