Note: Panel de Pon is known as Tetris Attack in the US. It, however, has Yoshi styled graphics as opposed the the fairy girls in PdP. PdP has more variety in graphics though, such as each character having unique garbage blocks.

Ristar is a game for the Genesis. You play as this star kid thing with stretchy arms. You latch on to ladders and swing around poles and such.

Lo, I am mistaken. Not THE last, just one of. I'm still pretty sure about KDL3 though.

Dreamland 3 was indeed released for the SNES. It's the last SNES game ever released in the US. Kinda like how Kirby's Adventure was the last NES game ever released. Hm. Unsettling trend. Also, there was this little arcade style baseball game that featured Kirby as well that was available in the Satellaview system. The kind that you just time your swing, and the ball lands in one of a series of slots with 1B, 3B, HR, OUt and such.

Keyboard as a game controller. Take a game like Super Metroid, where you might want to hold the fire, run, and jump buttons, as well as a direction key or two. It start to add up...

Kirby series is a must have. Also Toejam and Earl for the Genesis. I would also throw in the best competitive puzzle game ever, Tetris Attack. Put in some beat em ups like Battletoads, Double Dragon, River City Ransom, and you should be set for some time.

If I recall, one of the versions has AI that's quite stupid. They'll pay all the money they have on hand if you give them a monopoly of their own. Makes for easy bankruptcy.

I feel the need to point out the Chi no Rondo is the Turbo Duo release only, NOT the SNES game.

I suggest you try a Genesis or SNES version then.

Question: Why don't you play on a difficulty higher than hard? Using built in cheat codes to access higher difficulties is allowed. Crazy Hard mode (yes, that's above even super hard, which you unlock), according to GameFAQs: Go to the Set Up Screen, highlight Level and press Left, Left, Right, Right, Down, Up, Down, Up, A, X.

Er. It was said that Varia was needed to survive Mother Brain's beam with fewer energy tanks. Or did you miss that part?

Note: seems to work with the (U) [!] version as well, but switches to Comic colour scheme. So, it would seem this is viewable in both setups :D

Yeah, actually, in SSBM, the forwards, backwards, and downward throws are suplex moves, but the up throw is still the ninja skill.

A single hammer uppercut does 80 damage. And I know that two held ninja slashes do 96. That said, ninja is also a cooler ability. That's where Kirby got his awesome forward throw for smash bros.

Well, Winamp actually comes with a diskwriter plugin (it's under the output section of plugins), so you can convert to wav off the bat. You can get the audio plugins from zophar.net, but since you listen to the nsf/spc files anyway, you probably know about that. Then, since you say you're putting it on cd, the wav files should be enough.

Actually, 2P T.A.C. punches are supposedly the strongest second player attack.

So far, I haven't found any way to get this to play back properly. It de-synchs in every rom version I try. My thought is that this is one of those games where the sound setting matters, or the player was using an older version of snes9x.
