I would be quite happy if the earth took an hour or two longer per day to rotate. Granted, if this were true, then an hour would actually be 4% longer. But yeah, I could live with a longer day.

I dunno, there are several upgrades that I think woul be worth buying when possible. Things that add speed/power with the buster upgrades, like the quick charge. Forte also has movement speed enhancers for dashes and ladder climbing. These could speed up your game quite a bit.

I actually have a completed run done. Not spectacular in the least, apart from zero deaths. I was just playing it at normal speed, using savestates at certain trouble points in case I slip up. Of course, this was also the first time I'd ever been to the later levels, so the path I take within some of the stages is less than par. It does only have one boss fight level (49), and it's not one where you just sit and wait to win. So at least the excitement level is decent. I dunno if it's just me, but so you know.

Well, you can probably get a faster speed if you force it to run in NTSC, as I assume that you got "Wily Wars", which is a european game. Also, the only part of interest of this game would be the Wily Tower that you earn after having a savegame with all three MM games completed. Too bad saving doesn't work in the roms. But at least there's a savestate you can get to see how it works, found here: http://www.interordi.com/mega_man_pc/downloads/
