You need to make a fix in the second monkey tapdance. (third if you count the remix.) Looks like there was a spot on a triple step that you slipped up a little. You'll know when it occurs because the quick scrolling background darkens for a moment. The tap sound is also higher pitched at the mistake.

Well, unless you can manipulate which game appears next for the perfect choice, I would say don't worry about getting the actual "perfects", unless you REALLY want to do all the drumming sections too. (I think that's what you use them for)

I'm going to say don't start with SRAM, because then you risk playing a Remix before you've perfected the songs before it. And it spoils it a bit when you get a remake of an older game before the first version of it.

Fine I'll say something. SprintGod's Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The first S3&K run and we didn't even get any in progress previews of it. It just all of a sudden APPEARED as a submission. Quite something to experience the whole game being ruined at once without any prior expectations.

People didn't seem to like my Rhythm Tengoku suggestion, either.

Saving works, but only after you get the sword. Part of how the original game code worked. There are two types of big keys. One for doors, one for chests. In the end though, this is just a hard hack. It's easy to make things hard, but hard to make things GOOD.

Maybe someone could make an IPS to turn an unheadered rom into a headered one? =/

I don't think Tails can fly on command in Sonic 2, so it would be rather pointless.

So, resurrected this topic have we? My suggestion of Shantae still stands.

If you're wondering, that's just a screenshot from an episode of Negima!? (altered to avoid copyright issue of course)

Another vote for me. The downtime activity in particular made it much more entertaining too. I love this game.

I think any time you use the up-a air move(?), where you spin around would be good.

I'm not sure about SSB, but in SSBM attack strength loses its effectiveness the more you use the same one. So, if you find yourself doing less damage, make sure you're not using the same attack the whole way.

Can anyone here read Japanese? I'm just curious although it's probably gibberish. Just a png, no need to fire up your emulator. EDIT: +3l2l24, &l)94l2, 10[|{3 (I'm actually kind of glad no one got it.)
I'm just seeing it now. I got it after 10 seconds, without your hint.

So did my idea about a different platform order not pan out?

It is possible to get to the descending part from the final platform? Since you end up waiting a while both there and the platforms going up, depending on the timing and how long it takes to get there, it might be a better option to go for it last.

What he said. I made a topic for it suggesting a TAS, despite being a rhythm game. Be fun for a concept demo anyway.

For me: Capture to (lossless) avi, import to Animation Shop, crop and optimize. Easy peasy. It's how I made these.

This is something I was considering using if I ever made a TAS editor. Mine would be arranged horizontally though, with lines extending for held buttons, looking more like an audio sequencer. Bonus points for those who know where I lifted the design from.

Maybe show off some glitches that wouldn't have much use in in speed portion? I don't know any in particular, but I'm sure there must be a few you can pull off.

For Super Metroid, maybe there could be something on her arm cannon that she's flailing like mad to fling off? You could have some Battletoads stuff for flying up that one level. One with two Megaman X's doing synchronized dancing?

The bonus game for the map pieces isn't so bad once you beaten it once, since it changes from 50 coins per tile to 1 coin per [time unit]. So for a 100% run, after finishing the game once, you'd only need to collect enough coins for the hard treasure box. Also, does this game have a soft reset? You oculd probably use that to skip credit sequences if you so desired.
