The quest is back on! While I'm disappointed that the issue with Nezumiman isn't fixed, that doesn't mean I can't optimize Ice Nezumi's stage. However, priority goes onto other games for the mean time, so for this weekend I can't promise much(More than likely anything at all).

Nezumiman still has that issue with the Weapon Get screen. I could upload the log if that would help

No offense, but an X7 run will be extremely boring to watch. The SDA X7 run literally put me to sleep.
Yet there's still a bunch of RPG TASes.... Anywho, an X7 TAS wouldn't be all that bad. Given that 70%+ of the game is in 3D, it could be interesting to see all of the skipping, abused AI, and creative weapon usage. It might just be me, but I don't really have any issue with X7 besides it's slow pace. Plus, when PS2 Tasing becomes really stable we could do an X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, and X8 800% run!

Having played this for months, I'll explain why it won't work. MM8BDM is a Mod of Skulltag, so it uses a wrapper.

Except for the fact that I can't TAS 3D games. The optimizing is too weird to do for me in 3D games.

Out of curiosity, why isn't there like, anything done on this game? It seems quite odd to me.

Hmm.. I remember a platformer for the SNES. You played as a blue blob and the title screen was in space or something. It had multiplayer options and I think there was ice in it. I also remember there being multiple exits in some levels but I dont know if thats accurate. Its not a lot to go on but its all I can remember. =| A dozen cookies if anyone finds it~

For some reason in Nezumiman after beating a boss, the emulation(or whatever you wanna call it) slows down a LOT. You have to hold frame advance for 15-20 minutes to get past the Weapon Get screen. Other than that I dont see any errors in running this game with Hourglass.

A few days ago I made another encode this time the only addition was the new boss fight. Back then it wasn't important enough to embed here (still isn't). However in a few days I'll start the actual TAS seeing as the current WIP isn't optimized (barely tested anything). I've also found out that getting hit does NOT cancel the slide so its exactly like MM2GB's sliding. Anyone remember that? Yeah.. ANYWHOoo I figure I might change up the order a bit. I know that butter is the last in the run and it has the second best weapon in the game (jewel satellite, basiclly) However due to the weaknessess being so... strong (3-4 hit KO on the boss its weak to) and the lack of sub weaknesses, I'm not sure if this would be a feasible option. Even if I DID go after butter I'd have to go after Usagi first because butter is such a delay. Thankfully Usagi has no invincibility moves and its open 100% of the time because of this. Delay might actually be the better option though but because of the lack of Shock Wave, theres too much time loss. But yeah, PLANNING.

Also, see if you can manipulate away that health pickup you grabbed.
This is where I start hating this game.. instead of the RNG working every frame, its set when you enter the room. Atleast, thats as far as I can see it in the test runs. SPEAKING OF WHICH Link to video Thats why I left that last Snow Man alone. I actually dont think its slower and if it is then well ugh. I'm also having an issue seeing how long the boss invincibilty state lasts seeing as Ice Nezumi doesn't like staying on the ground. I'm probably gonna have to test it with Dragon Nezumi as he's on the ground 24/7.

Well, you have Quick Man dashing at you at the very first second. Then you have Heat Man's first tackle fire. Then you have Air Man's attack. I'd say try and go for the least amount of damage, both lower and upper.

Even WITH tools I dont think No Damage would be possible.

Nezumiman is a game similar to Megamari. That being, its a Mega/Rockman clone. This game however has ducking and very weird Sliding and Ice physics. The game can be gotten here and I'll have a mirror up in a day or so. My current WIP of this game was really just a test run. Link to video The sliding physics are really weird. As far as I know only grabbing a ladder, getting hit, or falling can break the slide. This causes a LOT of problems. Please note this is my first actual TAS

I'm wondering if this is a common issue. I'm trying to TAS a game but a lot of times, when I load state, the game crashes. As far as I can tell to get Read + Write working you have to load state. Sometimes it just works (thats only happened twice) and sometimes it works, but when I hit frame advance once, it crashes. Other times, it works but emulation breaks, as in sounds play but the visuals never change (only once). Sometimes, load stating just breaks all together too(only 3 times). The game Nezumiman. Its fairly unknown so I just thought it wasn't on the list because no one knew about it. It seemed to run fine but I just want to make sure. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, I was told to post it here =\ Edit: Currently running on Windows 7 Ultimate; no Service Pack; 64-Bit
