Loosing a game before even gaining control of the character!? That has to count for something. Well done!

Voting no because you are a day early. Cancel it and resub tomorrow.

It just means the same address is used for multiple things depending on whats going on during the game. So cut-scenes may use it for something like animation or a buffer for some data. Not uncommon when you have a limit on the allocatable memory.

Yes I know games read from uninitialized ram as a source of entropy for the RNG, but do any get from outside noise like how I could use the noise off a Zener diode. In know there was an unused expansion slot on the NES could that have been used to get some sort of signal noise for the RNG?

Do any NES games use any kind of noise to run it's RNG? I'm not familiar enough with the technical aspects of the NES to know if that is even possible as an RNG technique.

Another counter argument for coins would be that if a game-over and continue would be faster on the console, it would be allowed. Of course I don't have a strong opinion either way. Looking forward to an encode.

How much faster is it really compared to the published one that doesn't use a dirty SRAM?

Way to crush that game. I remember rage quitting after only a short while. Nice work. Was a bit repetative, but I don't think overly so. The rocket belt was nice though.

I think it's short enough to warrant a publicatoin. Very nice RNG abuse.

Some neat glitches and combos, but nearly enough WTF moments compared to other fighting games. I suppsoe it's a meh vote.

More like running down stairs mode. Fun abuse of the procedurally generated levels.

Terrible game, but the run is short enough. Weak yes vote.

Overall a really good run. Very entertaining. However I did kinda prefer SRD's run better because he showed off some more bugs.

Great run and it makes me want more from you. However I feel this category is arbitrary and redundant. I hate voting No for an exceptional video, but I fail to see why we need this run. Any% and 100% are the only 2 categories that we need and maybe a CCC just for fun.

Game is rather slow paced. I don't think it's very good TAS material. Voted Meh.

Seems a bit repetative. I was bored before the end of the second level. I think just doing the first level would be an idea. Overall though the run looks well done and the sound is top notch for the NES.

We already have a 100% small run. I don't see why we need an any% small run. While I appreciate your efforts, I think you should improve the 100% small run and not put another SMW challenge run on the site

I hated Tengu Man on the old run because of the boring auto-scroll. You made it easily my fav level in the whole run!

I dunno. Looks a bit like a WIP and not a published run. I see lots of potential here. Work on it a bit more; look at the suggestions of the above people and we'll see your first published movie.

Voting yes because I'm not yet spiteful enough to force someone to kill a puppy.
