Ok. I redid this movie. I believe it's far better this time. I'm canceling this and I'll submit this one later (or would be better to post it in the WIP's forum before submitting?).
I followed Truncated's idea of jumping through the floor in the boss as the coin appears, and I walk in some (2) ceilings this time =p

in your text, you said that you chose not to run along the top of rooms when possible using the glitch, when, really, you should use it because it's infrequent enough that the spectacle of just running along the top would not get old--provided that it's actually faster to go that way, of course.
It's not that infrequent, it can be used in all castles and a lot of the overworld, using the clouds. It's like Tails flying the stage. Anyway =p

Yes, exactly. I can't get any item (including swords, gauntlets, gold, magic) as soon as they appear on-screen, I have to wait a little longer. If I jump too early, I'll "touch" the item, but I'll not get it.

I disagree about having hack restrictions solely for quantity, but I agree with restrict them for the quality provided by them.
I believe the ROM-hack rules should be about "how different the hack is from the original game? How does the hack contribute for a new game experience."
This way, new levels-only movies should be shot down, and mere pallete-swaps too. But hacks like Super Demo World, with engine modifications, edited enemies, SMB3-esque blocks, not.
I mean, I believe someone's going to try Sonic Megamix when (IF) it's finished. And this hack have four or five different characters, with different traits; even Sonic doesn't play like his 2D self.

I agree with arbitrary goals, if the goal is good and entertaining enough. Not just the "glitchfest", but "full runs", "low%", "no powerups" (small-only Mario World, for example), "glitchess"....
Alden, in his Golden Oldies page, selected this Sonic 3 & Knuckles run. As he says, "the main feature of this "ancient" Sonic the Hedgehog movie is someone actually playing Sonic the Hedgehog".
I'm not saying that he agrees with a new section just for this, but he have a point, and I believe it would be awesome to have different TAS categories.

No, it's hard and boring. Mine is Aims for fastest time, someone did the 100% 1UP, getting one of the 1UP mushroom has to be die once.
If you're talking about TASing it, that ok, I understand.

This one finishes level 3, I believe it looks way better than the first batch, and its like 500 frames faster
Yeah, about the points in the final level... I usually get my health recovered after the boss fight, so it's kinda hard not getting perfect without getting a damage for "no reason". I believe I'll be able to do that in next level.

It's a glitch, activated when you jump and press left and right at the same time.
Depending of the map, it activates a lot of weird stuff, like warping to the next room, getting back to the last room, losing all our hearts if you touch a boss, ignore item-trigging actions, or just falling through the floor.
About damage boost, it seems faster then walking, I should already have tried that.
The only thing that I'm worried right now is the damage I'll probably take in the last dungeon, due to damage time-related. That's the reason I always got "perfect" in all rounds.
