I believe it would be nicer if you first unlock level 20, then later get the best score. Also, my suggestion about the video's order: 1-open all level 20 needed 2- all other modes that don't use level 20, kinda of a intermission 3- maximum score in level 20 4-999999 in marathon -OR- final marathon, credits, endgame Deeper in "brackets" (no reason) marks when I don't have any reason to order exacty in this position, can be shuffled with others (no reason) modes in the same bracket 1- a.Tetris marathon (if the movie end with that mode, should be nice starting with it) b. Mission (no reason) c. catch (no reason) 2- a. Push (no reason) b. time trials (marking the "middle" of the movie with tetris normal-style) c. Versus (no reason) 3- a. Catch (no reason, besides changing the order in comparison with 1-) b. Mission (no reason, besides changing the order in comparison with 1-) 4- Final Marathon

Yes, you actually can! The only one i'm not sure for is Turquoise Hill 1.What do you mean by "losing" one act per zone?
Well, I got it yesterday, to check the bonus points in special stage=p And by losing, I mean you'll not complete 5 stages to get into the special stage [edit] Well, disregard that =p Completing Turquoise Hill 1 is faster than using the special stage

These are my suggestions: Vigilante 8 / Twisted Metal: Most racing games are not accepted here, but maybe weaponry-based racing games get better luck Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo: Why not? One of the best Tetri-esque games ever Street Fighter EX2 Plus and/or EX plus Alpha ...what? I like this series... Street Fighter Alpha series each game is unique, and all of them are great. Alpha 3 PS1 version may not be that great, thought. Spyro The Dragon Lovely series. Spider-Man 1 and 2 Best Spider-Man game ever Rayman 1 Beatiful game, also great Mega Man X4 Why the best X game in PS1 still doesn't have any game? =( Zero for any% and X for 100% Mega Man X5 and X6 100% Why not? Chrono Cross To get Bisqwit happier :3

Can you really get a bonus stage in electric egg? Besides that, cool route. you're going to "lose" just one act per zone

I think a cheat code would not be necessary. Also it is against the rules of this site.
This rule have some exceptions, and I believe unlocking the "real" MK mode should be one of them =p

How's the conversion of the DS version? I'd hope it's better than the execrable Playstation one if it's going to get a serious run made for it.
You don't have the 2 minute long load times, which is great for a start. But everything I've seen and played of the DS version is just as good as the SNES version.
Also, new dungeons, and uber-weapons. well, the fisrt one is boring as hell, but the second one is made of awesome and retcon.

-Best Ending -Master System version -Using Sonic -Real-time/
So, if you planning in getting best ending, are you already planning where are you going to get that 100 rings to enter the special stages, right? Maybe you should get them in longer stages, since they pass you right to the next stage. I'm not sure if you can get the bonus in every stage. Usually, you can't get them from Robotnik's stage And I just checked their bonus points, and it's based on your time (not speed), rings and emerald collected.

If you clear enough missions in marathon mode, the game ends and the credit screen appears. I don't really know if all modes with marathons work like that, but it's a nice end. Touch mode is not that ficed, I think you can arrange some wild combos. Puzzle is really fixed, so no. And excellent video, Baxter. I'd vote "yes" right now =p

P.S. Game Gear version would probably be best.
Really? I always thought Master System's one better, for the greater screen "depth". About the character, I believe using Sonic would be better, to abuse the rocket shoes.

Wait...wait. That problem is fixed, but the real problem is that Dega just runs so SLOW!
YOU'RE TOO SLOW [edit] Just saw your video... Your dash-start is cool, I liked it.. But wouldn't be faster to use the rocket shoes, midstage? I believe they're way faster than normal walking.. Not sure about your route, either.

iirc, Wheel is useful for others obstacles as well, including a cloudy stage. And maybe abusing the triple star bubble item? I believe you can get some of these by mixing, and also doesn't drop the current ability

Oh, great =) Thanks for answering, can't wait to see the final tas *edit* by the way, are you planning to use one of the comboed abilities, like fire sword, in bosses? Are they stronger than the other weapons?

MUGG, I see you're not getting any treasures. That'll be a problem, since you can't access 2 worlds, and I believe you'll not get any kind of "ending" here. You could get just the necessary for opening both words, the seal and... I don't really remember how you unlock the last world... But anyway, TAS looking great by now

But if he's aiming for "fastest time on the red line" route, then you DO NOT want to get medals, because they cost time.
Actually, his goals in the submission text don't mention speed. Goals * Hardest path * Minimum use of charged shots * Entertainment [edit] yeah, the description WAS edited after all... I don't know, this movie have some arbitrary goals... First was speed-based, now entertainment-based... The redline-path I can understand, but... Bah, I don't know.

Retro Gamer Challenge: As a nostalgia game, it should feel good with the NES section =p So many different genres in this game, it would be a interesting movie. Algo, both a normal gameplay run and a full "game" run in freeplay mode. Not all games, thought. Any Kirby game: Probably all 100% mode. In Squeak Squad, you need 100% to play in 2 entire worlds, and KSSU, you need to unlock other games, including all the new games and bosses. Besides, route planning for The Great Cave Offensive should be cool. All Castlevanias: Obvious reasons Super Mario 64 DS: I don't even know if it's possible to emulate, but this game should have a full 150 star run. The game is different from its Nintendo 64 counterpart, and the new characters could change the strategies drastically. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: It's the best version with recording support. Contra 4: Why not? M&L Partners in Time: Gotta love the giant damage trough TAS battles Brain Age: I support Alden's idea, but not just for Gruefood Delight. Would be awesome to test the games's capacity and get the best IQ ever. Dragon Ball Z Supersonic Warriors 2 If Goku wasn't powerful enough Sonic Rush: Because Sonic is the name, and speed is his game Spider-man games: Most of them are not-that-bad games... Tetris DS: More exactly, Mission Mode. Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble I ahted the touch screen in this game, but besides this, is a excellent game Yoshi Island DS: Why not?
