You know when getting the wand from the boss, if you're not half way off the screen (like the 1st boss) then grab the wand when it has gotten to the bottom. That way you won't fall down as long

My only suggestion to stop the freezing is to not use snes9x's direct sound but to use FMOD direct sound

Does this have any potential? I know the right-facing wall is solid (so it's probably not possible to get the key as small Mario), but the lower floor is not solid (when going through it from below). Would this save a significant amount of time as caped mario, by flying through as opposed to using Yoshi?
No, you'd die if got into one of those blocks

Well for start I wouldn't know which version to open when I get a movie that doesn't say, it would also spam up my startbar. It would help me and lots of other people (newbies) as well. Mainly the 1st reason annoys me though since it is solvable

If you add an optional WIP1 timing into this; couldn't it play the 1.43 movie files?

No, because with an any%, it will be as fast as possible. Fighting no bosses (probably) where as 9% has to fight every boss.
