Ha, had just come here to see if I could pester you into getting a update. Not the greatest news, but happy to see you getting straight back to fixing it. What time did you finish the disk on first time through? And any news on that disc 2 with commentary upload you were working on a little back?

Oh wow! I was a touch concerned myself from the slight lack of updates, but hearing you're a good chunk through Terra is great news. Especially from, what I recall, disc 3 is where your 100% objectives really come into play. Damn near doubly so on the combined route. Hope Choco didn't give you too much trouble; but I guess after seeing Disc1 I can't be to worried about that over grown, and now shiny, bird.

But he can spawn a Mario hat from Bowsers flames can he not? Or do the hats not spawn until Mario is unlocked?

Finally caught up on this. Script looks great Gecko; nice work. Now I know what the script actually looks like I'll try to think of any other comments or questions that you could answer for the up coming disks to include in it. One quick question for the current wip for now though; why did the Gigan Toads (for the Frog Drop learning) have different max hp totals? Good luck with the cards stuff. I assume you're at Treno card tourney?

It's only been a few posts in on the Picture vote; but this is the longest debate on the internet about Sonic CD that has not devolved into a soundtrack argument. Great job guys! Anyway, if there was a screen shot that was cool enough that showed off that the time warp in QQ was faster I'd vote for that one.

Difference of night and day for me between this and your first run. Got me looking forward to both your projects now rather than just the other one after this wip.

Much preferred your second go. Felt faster paced, and more varied tricks at a faster frequency. I personally did not like the need for the back track to a past level for a Yoshi though. Felt like poor planning I guess? Could you not do the same trick in a future level where you already have access to a Yoshi? Cool to see a new Superplay getting done considering how broken this game has become since the last one.

Suppose I'd prefer you had them with encodes rather than the run itself if you had to have problems. Good to hear you are still finding improvements like that on your redo. I assume jumping backwards is a drag, but 'route' improvements like Ragtime mouse must help mitigate that feeling.

I was aware of dondon151 doing his own 0% run (not ranked), which was just completed recently.
Thanks for posting this. Made me look it up, and it was a really entertaining run. But good grief does it make me (as a very casual FE player) wonder how you are gonna pull off the exp rank requirements when you have everything else to consider.

I kept meaning to get around to posting in here to see how you were doing on this. Ha; I guess, 'I can start' was not quite what I was hoping for, but it is great to hear this is getting off the ground. Especially with the extra info you have as a result. Best of luck with it. Kinda disappointed you dropped the extra goal of paired Lilina ending though.

I have finished encodes for the US Soundtrack. Starting the JP/EU Soundtrack now.
I swear, even if it is better, you don't need to post the JP music version at the same time if you have the US version to show now.

Nice to hear you're making progress again, hope your luck with the desyncs continues. As for questions; How did you manipulate max points from every encounter in the festival of the Hunt? Also, what were your goals during this round of Chocobo hot and Cold? I know about the Oak staff Chocograph of course, but what about the other items you dug up along the way? Were you looking for specific items, gill or just raising your beak level and points in Menes store?

Doomed us all. ...Was David Beckham just referred to as the chosen one? Is the final boss Beckham vs Mourinho? E; Also the first half a second expresses my feelings that this is a thing. (even if the gameplay does not look bad.)

I was going to ask about your interest in doing one of the 'Good ending' runs when this was accepted marzo. For what it is worth, in my opinion all 3 of those goals would be completed. Like you say, get the last Time Stone in Metallic Madness 2 and smash up all the Robot Machines and Metal Sonic holos in the past. Having the uniqueness you mention coming from the trips to the past for the whole run sounds somewhat vital in this game having a second category. But also getting the Time Stones seems like a goal that should be done... It's a Sonic game with (potentially?) interesting Special Stages. That's unique in this series I think. I can see arguments against the Metal Sonic Holos due to its arbitrariness being upto debate, though I would hope what it adds to the run and how it differentiates from this makes up for it.

The 100% of the NES game is being worked on. Not sure what this has to do with anything but ok. All x and all y is the set definition of Z% in a game without a % tracker is what I arbitrarily believe in btw. You don't need the things I personally think you don't. In fact, its impossible to define because you do not have enough persons opinion on the subjective definition.

Agreed with Samsaras reasoning on going for in game time also. Not sure the previous runs not time traveling should set an example for future runs either. Plus I think the time travel gimmick having a use in a speedrun is just neat and would be cool to see in a run.

Great work, the both of you. I was looking forward for sure, but wasn't super hype'd for this... just as I've been following the IL's for the game for ages, so wasn't expecting too many surprises. Well you proved me wrong. Looks like that Il Spreadsheet of yours ItsPersonnal will need redoing at some point huh! And looking forward to the next game you move onto THC, whatever it is. Fantastic stuff.

Any chance of hearing how you are getting on before we hit the new year? Find anything else new during your redo/lua note additions?

A stream (and its highlight) of the run on your twitch channel would also be an option as a temp encode would it not? It would also have the benefit of commentary if you were willing. Regardless, congrats on finishing this to you both, and looking forward to watching it.

Yeah, insta kill items that can hit story bosses that 'can not be killed' and you are supposed to die too no less. Interesting stuff Samsara. Looking forward to see where this goes.
