I'd be interested in seeing what you could pull off with 2 player co-op in Sonic Advance 3. Afaik, at the bare minimum you'll be able to pull off both characters tag actions in a stage rather than just the one. Also as as a not too serious option you'll be able to access the Sonic Battle mini games. Some of those could be decent quick videos.

Ha, ha. Posting Mission Street of all levels is cruel guys... especially how much Talon has been gushing how great all the stuff he saw between Prison Lane and Mission Street is! Looking great. Keep up the fantastic work.

What is this nonsense?! But nice run. I thought you made good use of the down time the game forced on you. Little bit of a shame the famous POW block didn't get a chance to do its thing but, oh well. Lovely to see this done, more so, done so well.

It's a good a idea to get to level 40 to unlock the best stage
Just a minor point, but that best stage, Superstar rank, is at level 30 rather than 40. I could not say for sure, but I'd imagine Pit of 100 trials plus manipulating the max number of encounters with Amazy Dayzees in the pit and in the twillight woods would all but get level 30/max rank. I'd be really interested in seeing the ingredient route for recipes when combined with going through the game, and would be disappointed to see it left out if a run of this type was ever made.

Bloody hell; what ever you do don't go with the emulator that adds that annoying noise to the reactor escape. It is worse than the 'you are low on hearts' beep in Zelda.

The current 100% runs spawn blue coins, grab a shine and then collect the spawned blue coin during the Shine Got cutscene skipping the 'do you want to save message' of the blue coin if that answers your question? I wan't to say Gelato Beach 1 and Pianta Village Shine where you have to wash the goop off the Piantas do this. Edit; Actually looking at stelzigs latest run he does the Gellato beach one in Episode 2, but from what I can tell Episode 3 would be more efficient. And The Pianta Village shine I describe is Episode 6.

Hard Mode SS Rank achieved
I'll admit feeling a touch guilty to singling out just two points of such a cool post; but I'll watch the hell out of that run. I'll defer to you, who knows more about the game, on if a hack is more entertaining than the standard game. Though I guess using (minor) hacks means we can have a thread title and rom I can read.

I know! Isn't it great? Instead of getting nothing like 99.9% of other games, they actually went and in and programed in an new stage to play for full completion! A new stage with multiple routes and hidden grottos no less. I wish more games did this; glad too see a like-minded soul.

I imagine an OM is a personal message (PM), only typed by someone who has a tricky to use keyboard? WIP is looking great, not much more to go now.

That was really fun to watch. I'm glad too see you didn't get discouraged from all the restarts and just kept optimizing it.
My sentiments exactly. Especially as I believe you actually finished one run, and then started again to get this closer to perfect? Regardless, it was a great watch. Hope we get the pleasure of seeing more TAS's from you in the future.

Curious which takes longer, the routing or do the input itself? Though I guess that can change on a level to level basis. Which of the two do actually prefer?

Whilst Chaotix are being discussed; I am looking forward to seeing their team TAS'd in this hack one day, either classic or with their rubber band rings.

Major grats. I know how much of a pain you found them in your IL wips.
