:s Btw, I discovered a major bug. When editing an FCM file, that edited file says the movie lasts X frames but when I play it, after that X fames, the movie doesn't stop and it continues on infinitely.

ok... so, where is it in editor. Must go in some menu and loses more time doing that than scrolling...

Also, I would like a feature that you write desired frame and it goes there instead of scrolling down to search for it.

Wow nice bug. Edit: Though, it will be hard to do in 2 player movie but probably not impossible since you may make one make it Game over before but the Gme over one won,t come back :s or make both gain 1 life before the Game Over screen. :S

I only know Morimoto's SMB3 that took years to do and it was good. One of the runs that inspire me to do those runs. I don't understand you...

Phil, "The important thing when measuring the amount of effort put into a movie (this assumes that this is a worthwhile thing to measure, which might be debatable) is number of work hours spent, not number of days spent." Agree / Disagree?
I don't understand your question. Days, hours, weeks, they are all time units. From my personal experience, spending an average of 1 hour per/day, because that's all the free time for some normal guy because they spend the remaining ones doing some other things, is not sufficient to do a good movie of SML2 in 2 weeks even if they are 4 guys.

I'm confused. Is it tolerated than an author vote on HIS OWN movie? Btw Shinryuu, do you like those glitches or not? Also, one of the authors doesn't like it so much... :s

That's not true that 4x times longer. They may had tested same things and thus losing some time.

Do you think all authors think their movies can't be improved? the answer is "NO".
That's not what I meant. The question is that when you know where are those improvements and don't care about the final result and still submit it (After 1 year and 4 monthes), it's kinda insulting for this community. Unless you could explain where are they and why you feel it's not worthwhile to lose precious time for some 1-2 seconds, I don't see any reasons why it should be accepted.

edit: ok, you didn't watch it. disregarding your precious opinion.
When I see, done in 2 weeks. I doubt it is so good and I am not tempted to even watched it. Also, when the author even confirm it can be improved in the submission text, I feel enough patient to wait until an improved version. If the question would be "Do you think the movie should be publsihed?" I would have voted "No".

Phil, could you send me the FCM you were using when you got this error? I can't reproduce it with any of the movie files I have here.
It was Legend of Zelda(I wanted to keep secret ;) ) but the final version seems to work fine. And no, the file wasn't already opened. Also, when I "right-clicked" in the editor, there was also an error like that. I did tested with other FCM and they were working fine, I don't know what was wrong with this one. I didn't keep the file. By "more user-friendly", I think it should be editable in the left table where there is "Header", "Metadata", "ROM information", etc. Right now, we can only select and it does nothing else. We can't even copy-paste.

Ah, strange. I wouldn't find it if you you weren't there. Maybe something more user-friendly? Also, the application refuses to save the file and there is an error.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system>
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

So, what's going on?

It would be nice if we could edit "Author info" and/or "Author comments" with this tool. Can you do that?

you found these improvements.
Yes, nice ONE. I am pretty happy that you respect me by using Snes9x 1.51 as I requested. For some reasons, I knew my run was improvable and that's one of the 3 reasons I didn't want to submit. But since adelikat is a bigger fan of Punch-out games and I knew he would do the job for me ;) then this movie proves me that I did the right decision. Though, it's not said that won't retry later, maybe in 2 years :P. I've still had the intuition there is one figther that can be improved but I may be wrong.

Here, the sound is far better than what in 1.43. Maybe you are used to it?
