$10 bounty claimed?! Where is my $10!
It's not you who won. It's me and Genisto. From ~300$ he owes me, I only received ~100$.

Concept demos/Other hmmm when it was Hacked games/concept demo, all was clear but now.... Anyway, for me, concept demo is demo. I don't know why the word "concept" is used because it's vague and confusing. From dictionary definition, all movies on this site are concept demos or aren't. Imo, it should be Hacked games/Demos/Other.

First of all, I voted yes. And you know what? If this game beats it so quickly, you probably have enough time to go into 8-4 with level select, win, and STILL obsolete the published run. Legit, right?
Hahahahahaha, I really like that idea, actually. That'll shut everyone the !@#$ up
Yes, I really thought about that before submitting the run but it is probably slower. Anyway, the version is different and it won't obsolete Pom's run.

Clearly there is no debate that this movie should be published and clearly no one other than Phil thinks it should obsolete Pom's movie (sorry dude, but they are just too different).
OMG!! This time, I think it's your turn that must read submission text. Stop accusing me. It's you who started the "Is this movie should obsolete Pom's movie?" debate.

His movie is a 1 player movie. 2 player = easier
Dont try to offend adelikat by claiming its easier to control 2 players. You dont need to be a genius to figure out that you are clearly protecting Genisto. There are so many difficult aspects controlling 2 players compared with controlling 1 player that I dont even know where to begin with. And this coming from you is quite remarkable since you have done a 2 player run and know its harder. Edit: Done posting in this thread, now it is time for the people at IRC to really pay attention to the workbench because any moment now, our God will submit his run.
Quoting and pasting texts from other topics here. You are patthetic. Worse than that, it's NOT even related to this submission.

SMB1 FDS is not more obscure than the one on NES or VS. But it's indeed different. As all other FDS games used for making runs like Zelda 2, Eggerland, SMB2j etc...

It doesn't reset itself, it's me who puposely press B button to return to title screen. So it invites people to check by themself to verify that 2nd quest and level select modes are activated which are only there if game has been beaten.
upthorn wrote:
All of the other movies on this site which beat games in abnormal manners, STILL beat it in a way which triggers the ending screen and/or ending credits to play. This does neither, so it may not qualify as beating the game.
Saying the game is beaten or not is just a matter of opinion. Personally, I think the game has been beaten. Also, you must consider that the ending is glitched. There's no ending text or princess but there's no Toad either. It's glitched.

Since Angerfist is an idiot, someome else can explain me why "No commentaries" is not the same as "No comments"?

Some people didn't make the relation between "Don't be negative" "Bitching" and the minus world. It's was just a joke. For Angerfist It's NOT HACKED ROM. First, it's not a ROM, second it's original.

Instead of whining and being negative, you should explain why. If you check the correct RAM value, I am 100% sure it will show the game has been beaten.

And why "Bisqbot"? From what Bisqwit said, Bisqbot is a set of tools for "HIS" personal purpose. And there's not only Bisqbot that can do the job. Use Robot or Bot instead. I've noticed many people over-estimating bots but they are made by human and they don't make perfect movies. A good example is Monopoly which a bot had been beaten by an updated bot and a new strategy. Also, they only help in some parts of the game.

To be clear for everyone. Our video, me and Genisto, was 3 frames faster. Some people didn't like it, it discourages me and I decided to cancel it. Then Pom's beat me by 1 frame.

This information is not true (and mentioned in my submission text). Since then it has been confirmed by both me and hanzou by monitoring the ram addresses.
Yes, stupid guys that wrote FALSE tricks at GameFaqs. They are outnumbered. I've decided to vote meh. Btw, I don't want you to take it personally. I always appreciate you work, Punch-out games, etc... Note that I am hard to satisfy with Gradius games. I was unsatisfied with my own work in Gradius 2 just to let you know. ;) To make them look what I want is hard and too long. That's why I gave up. And Gradius 2 doesn't have such speed upgrades.

As I always said, this game could be improved by alot. Common people thought improvements were at bosses only. FALSE. Some times ago, I wanted to do it but...

I recommend against trying to "improve" this movie. The author was not aiming for game clear speed. It's merely a demonstration of what happens when you have tons of speed upgrades.
Haha, interesting to know that adelikat managed to change Bisqwit's opinion on the game so much (compare with a post by Bisq in page 1) :P
and I think it's for that reason no one had tried to improve the Gradius run.

Also, I liked how you used the plane and options to spell out words :)
In my Gradius 2 WIP run, I also write letters. Since the ship doesn't go as fast then it wasn't evident and in final result, even me could hardly notice any letters. In this movie, the technique is imaginative and different than me. The letters are readable. Maybe it could be done in Gradius 2 too.

I still wish you had killed everything, but it definitely deserves to obsolete the existing run. I voted Yes.
I don't agree with adelikat. I think it's possible to kill enemies without killing entertainment.
Bisqwit wrote:
You managed to do something different. Less mindless wobbling around than the other contesters so far. (You had a pattern.)
Imo, there's much more wobbling in that video than any other movies so far. It is turning around all the way for nothing. It is annoying.
Bisqwit wrote:
Also, who would have guessed that a death could be a shortcut in this game under any circumstances.
As for the death, I thought the video desync. but no. I always used death as shortcut in my video when possible. I think it's a clever way to save time. But not all people agree. For adelikat: From Gamefaqs: Level Skip Destroy the ship (the one at the end of each lvl) in 5 seconds and you'll obtain a warp to the level ahead of it. Is this information true? If yes, then level 6 could be skipped and this movie "Doesn't aim for fastest time" :P Here are pros and cons. Pros: -Faster movie -Unexpected death -Uses of warps -Using ship to write some words Cons: -Movie could be made faster if information is true -Could aim for highest score without compromising entertainment by killing all enemies at last frame when they are no more needed for the show and by obtaining hidden bonuses such as the "10,000 Bonus Points" -Too much wobbling. -At volcanoes in stage 1, it looks less impressive than in Morimoto's movie. In fact, stage 1 is a fiasco. I won't vote before adelikat answer me but I think I will vote no. Imo, this run looks like a test run aimed for testing those bots and tools.
