Yes, I noticed some jumps seem to cost you 1 frame, so I'm jumping as little as I can. I had the impression that the game had already been squeezed dry of frames, but maybe not... I've finished level 1 at 4085 frames (when the guy disappears into the base) and I'm currently downloading the old avi file to compare (there is NO way I'm ever using Famtasia again).
Never use AVI's made with Famtasia to compare movies. Sorry but you have no choice but to use FMV to compare movies.

Why didn't you report this bug in FCEU thread? Go post what it happens.

Are you saying that the AVI splitting feature is resulting in a corrupted AVI, or that it didn't split early enough to avoid corruption, or that it's not really a problem with FCEU after all?
No, my video is only 700 MB but anyway it is probably a minor problem. Maybe it's from my side.

What is the logo file exactly, an animated GIF or a folder of PNGs or a short AVI or something?
How about all of them? Something that I just found: When recording AVI it relies on FCEU's Drawing Area option. Could you set it to always use 256*240 for people that are using different reolution when playing. It's just that I just wrote a guide and someone got a problem because of that.

I would like an option to add logo when recording. It will prevent me to re-encode the AVI twice. By logo, I meant the small intro in published movies. I think it should be an option that is always activated. If no file selected then there's no logo. When one is chosen keep it and save it's path to config file.

warping password
o_O Don't you know that there's warps like in SMB to skip worlds? Plus, there's no password in that game. Though, there's a level select trick.

Fist of the north star is Hokuto no ken 2. Hokuto no ken was released in many pirate multi-games cartridges.

Uses no warps/passwords Voting No because of that. Why didn't you use warps?

I've just watched it. 1st. The Samurai fight isn't the fastest as it could be. 2nd. You could obtain treasures while waiting. 3rd. A 2 player run would be better. I wasn't really impressed and it was almost boring. A 2 players run should make more actions to keep me interested. Voting No. I still think the Arcade version would have been a better choice. A 3 player run would be even better. Right now, FBA is the only Arcade emulator that is supporting rerecording but it is lacking some features. I hope nitsuja...

There's no version 13. The latest is 0.98.15. Actually, the video is just corrupted, Mencoder(probably Vdub can) was able to repair it.

Major bug with AVI encoding. After 15:14 of recording, it seems to stop recording video. I've tried with both Techsmith and AVIZlib codec. It happens with the latest version. It never occured before with blip's version. Note that it also happens with an older version of nitsuja. I thought maybe it was me but today, with more testings, I know it is not the case.

What's this all about? You should create new thread if you want to write something unuseful for Zelda.

I really need to have some extra exp because I think I can skip some Linda's at end of stage 2 but I am not sure. Also, I can skip one Chin at stage 3. So it won't be easy but I really hope to obtain the elbow attack before those last Linda's. I found a place to obtain an extra 80 exp points at stage 2. I am not sure but I think doing 1 punch + 2 kick on Chin's or Abobo's then waiting and repeating is better than just 2 kick at once. I think it is fastest + it gives much more exp points. That's what I will test. The randomness is not so easy to manipulate in this game. If it's possible, I would like to obtain better randomness for falling stalactites in the cave of stage 3 and those stupid walls at start of stage 4. And yes, I think a sub 9 minutes is really possible.

I've just redone the last part of stage 1 and improved it by 17 frames because of new and better strategy. You can see it : http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/746/Double%20Dragon%20%28U%29.fcm And give me commentaries and suggestions NOW, not when the movie is finished. Btw, I know it can be done ~10 frames faster but I won't have as much exp points as this. I think those frames lost really worth it.
