It happens 3 times. I am 100% sure it's a bug. P.S. It's you who supposed to explain me why it's doing that :P when it wasn't there before. Anyway, it's hard to find the real reason since my FCEU is usually opened for several hours, sometimes days.

Apparently, FCEU doesn't save configuration here or maybe it resets it when opening FCEU.... When I restart FCEU, I must reconfigure my hotkeys. Actually it is saving but maybe there's something after hours of play that resets it before closing FCEU. I was sure it was saved before. And I didn't opened other version of FCEU since you would have asked that question :P Major bug that need to be fixed soon. Anyway, as temporary solution I made a backup of my config.

Heck, gens can do Sega CD too.
You can't do reliable Sega Cd movies. 1st. Gens doesn't support savestate(Well, there's some unofficial versions that have beta savestate support) 2nd. Movie always desync from what I have tested.

Good graphics and sound but the random generator is not as good as in Snes version. Almost all moves are predetermined. There's some ways to manipulate luck but it costs too much time. But well, I will try my best to do a good movie. At least, you can walk a lot faster and battles are way much faster than before. + there's that bug that let you attack twice. I don't know what's the reason but it's clearly useful.

Don't exaggerate. It happens one time in my TAS and I don't know the real reason. Trying to reproduce seems not easy. There's probably something related to when another character got the bar full while another is just doing an action. Or maybe it's something else. Even if there's that bug, YES it is acceptable. Since it's easier to obtain critical hits on Snes version, that bug may compensate. P.S. And next time, try posting in FF4 GBA thread for that game ;P Since it's not really the same game, you can continue FF2 US. Try to get critical hits on Myst Dragon boss and next enemies.

1st. Frame counter on 2nd Pause emu 3rd. Load savestate. 4th. Can't see frame counter. Can you fix that? I love to open savestates and check how many total frames in them. I don't want to press Frame advance key everytime.

I've decided to timeattack this game on GBA because that remake is beautiful.

I don't think it's as easy as this. There's randomness in that game.

I think I have already tested it and it stills suck. Plus, Snes9x doesn't have a "concept of current save slot, increase/decrease/load/save actions, and make-current-on-load/save options " Anyway, I will do FF4 on GBA when the ROM will be available tomorrow or in 2 days if the sound is good. Edit: :@ Actually, that fixes the sound problem. After all these monthes, I could have done that game if I knew that before. I will check the GBA version, if I don't like it, I will start it on Snes when the "concept of current save slot, increase/decrease/load/save actions, and make-current-on-load/save options " will be implemented. Tilus: Btw, I can see many errors in your video. The main one is the fact that you don't critical hits your enemy. Btw, you can't manipulate random to avoid battles. They are unavoidable. I have already started that game on Zsnes and I wasn't able to avoid them no matter what I do.

When updating version, is it possible that old custom configuration compatible? It's pretty sad always reconfigurating things. Well, it's just a suggestion. It's not absolutely required but nice to have. I don't think v6 will be the last version but the differences between blip's version and this one is so big that there won't probably have not so much another new versions but still. With the new FCM format that will make movies easily hex-editable and subtitles/chapters feature, except new mappers and boards, there won't be not so much new additions after.

What's so interesting about rejected/cancelled movies? 1st. You can discuss them in Nes section because if you have suggestions, it will be easier to find them there. 2nd. Lot of them are submissions that doesn't interest anybody or/and have been watched by a judge and decided that it won't worth to be discussed anymore. 3rd. Those runs are easy to find and aren't in the queue list like Fihlvein said. When I check there, http://tasvideos.org/queue.cgi , I only see new submissions.

If your grasp of the English is so poor that you can't understand sarcasm, go somewhere else and argue in a language in you actually understand.
It's true that I don't always understand language from stupid people since it's hard to understand. P.S. I hope you have noticed that I have written your language.

The main point here is simple. JXQ said he was interested in continuing my run. But it turns out he was not interested in this at all. He was only interested in copying my run in a manner he knew I would find unsatisfactory, and then giving half an effort in the levels he couldn't copy virtually frame for frame. I don't care that he's using my strategies. I made them public so that people could enjoy them. But I do care that he is using my strategies in a shitty run. I subjected GH1-3 to such thorough and meticulous optimization that the best JXQ could do was shave 4 frames across three levels. Compare this to the fact that I shaved 5 frames off of a single jump in his Marble 1 about 2 seconds into the level. If he is not willing to hold his run to the same standards as my GH1-3/SY1-2/L1, then I don't want him using my work! I stopped my run because I couldn't stomach the thought of producing shit, whether or not anyone else was capable of recognizing it. I don't want my work continued by anyone without that same ethic, attention to detail, and demand for excellence.

No amount of violent and vicious exposition on your part is going to change the fact that you picked up a run from an author with demanding standards, and have proven unwilling to conform to those standards on levels that require you to come up with your own strategy. That's lame.
The main problem, some people want you to do things as like if it was their own run but when the video is done, they are saying that the movie is a pure copy of their video. That's lame.

Makou loves to edit his post. Edit: My first edit :P Edit #2: oops I must change N by M Edit #3: There's a "Minor edit (for obsessive editors; doesn't alarm people at the IRC channel)" checkbox. Don't you know that? :P Edit #4: Cool, I have checked it this time.

I have PMed you. Check there ;) Ok here's the bugs that I found today: -FCEU creates an unnecessary dir called "palettes" -It loads/saves state in wrong dir. -Something's wrong with configuration. It saves/loads on slot 1 when it supposed to be another slot. -And those that I wrote earlier but unfortunately, I have no proof because of that "doesn't save in correct dir" bug.

MAJOR BUG: All my savestates became invalid. I was recording, I did a mistake so play the movie in read only mode then paf savestates corrupted. AND YES IT WAS RECORDING, otherwise, it wouldn't have shown the frames count. MAJOR BUG: When playing in read only mode with a GOOD AND FULLY working movie and load one of those savestates, it corrupts that movie definitively.

This game is slow because there's a terrible lag. MattyXB doesn't get rid of that lag as soon as possible. One of the reason it is imperfect.

For subtitles, yes but not for that :P
