I've justed tested a Sega CD game, AD&D Eye of Beholder, and evidently, it desyncs. I would like that there's no desync. Is it possible? Sega CD is a lot better than Genesis and got several hits.

lanczos seems the best. The triangle version is blurry but maybe if you can make all video the same size, it would be easier to compare.

I've just finished stage 1 and I am 226 frames faster than my previous movie.

With or without, I am playing at 100% speed and never had any problem. Having this feature or not!? Personally, I don't care. There's more important bugs that need to be fixed before.

To output to AVI, I need a REAL lossless codec and h264 doesn't do the job as it claimed to be.

Won't removing duplicated frames make the video faster ?

I didn't say it's constantly changing. In most games, it changes only at certain specific times (like before the game really starts) and stays locked at one speed for most of the game. The FPS number you see in the emulator might be constantly changing, but that's not the FPS of the N64, it's just the FPS the emulator is displaying (which could be lower or higher).
I know. The problem is the fact that "it changes only at certain specific times". AVI hates that. In fact, it doesn't handle it at all.

No. I never seen that before. I think its container's job instead. Maybe MKV or ogm can do that but not AVI.

No, because the frame rate is constantly changing like you said earlier. Sometimes, the game is at 20 fps while it can be at 50 other times. So, there will be duplicate frames. Not because of lags but because N64 sucks and can't do ~60 fps like other systems. :P

Thank you.
Oh, I see. Sorry for misunderstanding. In that case, I recommend this resource as a counterargument: http://tasvideos.org/MovieRecordingConventions.html
But you will have no choice but to duplicate frames because FPS always change during emulation. So imo, you can use external software since it won't be worst.

I'd recommend doing Dragon warrior 2 instead since it's working well. For some reasons pretty few emulators can handle DQ2. + it's better in English.

[h1] = hacked game. Who knows what are the differences!? Maybe there's cheats in it.

I am voting no, because there's no GOOD dump that can play this movie fine. + even the author said it is imperfect.

Dragon Quest (J) [a1].nes seems to work fine under VirtuaNES but not FCEU. It's probably the one for the movie I guess.

I don't think using and other exit is considered a warp. If it will skip levels, yes, this is warp but that's not the case here. If it's the case, then the Battletoads warpless run IS NOT a warpless run.

Yes, that's what I mean but that's not so important. All needed features that I want are in VBA. I think people want you to work on mupen64 instead ;)

In most games this thing can be useful though, it would be nicer if you could set the number of frames that you need to hold a key. NES and gb games sometimes need you to hold a key for 2 frames to do an action. NES Double Dragon is one of them.

After downloading and checking, I am happy now. About that frame search, I am not sure what it is supposed to be.

You are soothsayer :P and can you try to remove some unuseful ones?

What dialog box? I have no idea what you're talking about.
It is called "Select save game name" but nervermind, I was just kidding. It's just that there's too many saving option and this one is probably unnecessary now and should be replaced by SaveGameCurrentSlot. Same thing for loading. Edit: If I choose current save slot to 1, it saves to the 2nd one.

Maybe I am tired but how are you supposed to do that? I don't see anything that let me customize. I want 1 as slot 1, 2 as slot 2 etc... And is it possible that when saving, there's no dialog box? I prefer FCEU map hotkeys configuration UI because there's only necessary keys for making good movies.

Also, you can type the name of a hotkey to go directly to it; you don't have to scroll through the list to find it. (Maybe you knew that already, just saying it in case you didn't.)
No and I don't see that option.

I think it's simpler than we thought. He did the glitch warp 3-1 to 1-2 then finishes 1-2. For some reason, the game still considered you in world 3. Since he is now in 1-3, the game considered you in 3-3. So when he uses the warp, he goes to 5-1. That's my conclusion after reading some glitches at David Wonn page. I'm referring to the "Get back to the top of 1-1 or return to 1-2! " glitch. It's hard to know if that trick is useful or not. Since earlier stage are easy and not long to do.

O_O it will be hard to record as AVI under those conditions
