After stage 2, I am 947 frames faster than FODA. Almost 16 seconds faster. I didn't obtain as much points as him but who cares, I gain 12 seconds over him in this stage.

I took the 1-up for fun. Also, being hit, during the boss fight, is just for fun because when hit, the rock is thrown. So, IMO it looks cool.

I have just finished stage 1 and it's 235 frames faster than FODA did. Here is my WIP run: http://hiddendragon.sytes.net/Battletoads%20(U).zip I am waiting some commentaries before continuing. Note that in the current video, the rerecord count is high. The reason, I took our current warpfull run because the beginning is the same.

you could do a hammer bros. suit run if you play the SNES version, since it saves your inventory if you choose to start from world 1.
Would that be legitimate?
Why not?

Which means it's porbably imperfect.

Cool, I will surely test if there's some problems compiling it under MinGW.

Our 1p warpful run is near to be completed, we are at the final boss. This boss is not evident due to a lot of randomness but expect a 1:25 improvent over your run. Because right now, we are 1:20 faster than you.

For Double Dragon 2, nearly the same scenario had occured like Tarzan. Famtasia at 20 fps. Anyway, my next project, is Battletoads, 2player alone with FCEU. I must finish the 1p warpless first ;) and SMB2j.

With nitsuja's Snes9x version, I think I may finish my Final Fight Guy run.

FMOD is working fine with my PC except, like nitsuja said, A3D doesn't work.

Just a little request: In the old Snes9x it was possible to make screenshots, by pressing F12 (the screens were then called for example SuperMarioWorld007.png) This doesn't work anymore in your improvement, and i also couldn't find this in the "Customize Hotkeys" menu. Would be nice if you could add that :)
In some precedent thread, he said he fixed that. So download the latest version and try.

Can you patch Snes9x so people can compile the source using MinGW? More details there: http://www.snes9x.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1304

Because we want perfect run and Zsnes, currently, doesn't support rerecording.

There's Final Fight Guy.
Can you give some more details? I tried it out for a while and it sounds *exactly* the same to me.
Listen that AVI. http://hiddendragon.sytes.net/FFGuy-missing%20sound.avi

In joypad configuration and customize hotkeys you can select more than 1 "box", they remains green. It is somewhat a minor bug but still a bug ;). This bug is from official version. It would be also nice if we could be able to configurate directories. Imo, I think your Snes9x v. 1.43 is better than the official one. That's just my opinion. It's not that they have made bad work. The only problem, it's missing some sound effects in some games.

Anyway, right here right now, I consider Snes9x with nitsuja's patch the official version to timeattack games ;)

I can't find room to store the entire CRC32, though. Would storing just the last 1 byte of the CRC32 be good enough for the purpose of verifying it's probably the same ROM it was recorded with?
Well, it's better than nothing but not reliable at 100%.

That graphic glitch is related to image output processing. When sets to none, normal or opengl, I don't have this problem. Edit. When sets to Normal and Snes9x is in full screen mode, we can't see any menu. And when you press Alt-Enter, or sometimes just Enter, after, supposedly, opening the open rom window, Snes9x crashes.

The frame counter is shown in other applications. That's very annoying. Put a window on the visual boy window and move that window and see by yourself. ;) That's bloody :P
