I think this http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/patch.htm may help you Edit: Nach told me that http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/ contains a better version of patch than the GNUwin32 version.

Could you explain what "there's some graphic glitches" means exactly?
Well, I want to take screenshot but it appears we can't in Snes9x. Could you plz add it. Anyway this:

Recognizing left-ctrl and right-ctrl separately might require DirectInput, I'll have to check though, but if it does I'm not about to rewrite the input code to use it for this one thing.
That would be better.

(Btw this is starting to have less and less to do with the thread's original topic, should this move somewhere else?)
I think it should be in "Snes9x, things to be improved or corrected" thread.

I agree with BoltR. ok, I found an unusual bug. Ex. If my frame advance button is Ctrl and another function like show input on screen need Ctrl+Alt+; then that function doesn't work. Btw, Snes9x doesn't make the difference between Ctrl-right and Ctrl-left. Personally, I think it's a bug since it's not exactly the same key.

* There is no frame counter when you're not watching or recording a movie. huh, I am not sure if this is a misfeature. Why a frame counter is needed in normal playing? But, there's some graphic glitches.

About sounds missing, when I was recording a test movie of Mortal Kombat II, the voice and sound effects got all screwed up (missing some segments and repeating others strangely), but it sounded pretty normal on playback.
Even in playback there's missing some sounds.

It's missing some sounds in Final Fight Guy. Option to display movie input buttons (credit to Bisqwit): It's pretty cool but is it possible to be a little cleaner ;) like a Snes joypad instead of some symbols and letters. Also when recording into AVI, it records those symbols. Maybe there must be an option to let someone to record this in the AVI or not. Sometimes, it's cool to see how a game is handled but not always ;) Also, when there's 2 player input, it shows 1 player even if there's no input for that player. Edit: I forgot to said that since Snes9x uses a PNG library, you could use a Snes9x joypad picture with transparency. The WIP release is not currently supporting JMA. Nearly all my ROMs are under that format.

Also, is it possible to remove that left+right, up+down restriction? Can you use v 1.43 final?

Yes because of that, it's not perfect as it is supposed to be. Anyway, that's not a problem since I was aiming at highest score as possible while not losing too much time.

Well I've got a lot of trouble with Final Fight Guy. I have stopped this project due to too many desyncs. I don't know what's the reason. I haven't tested with your version.

You'll see it when it will be done. Check that LoZ thread. I have estimated I will do 1 minute faster maybe 1:30 and it ended to be 1:26 faster. Same thing happens in some other games. When I see improvement at some places, I know how much time it can save.

Thinking of that, I think I can beat your time by ~1 minute. I am not joking.

He probably means original MArio bros. from Atari. Well, the one that is in SMB3 as bonus game. Julianch: The problem with VS games, Famtasia doesn't handle those games and FCEU, for somewhat reason, can't record coin insertion and DIP switch input even if it is supposed to be supported.

Because I don't like Snes9x very much and Genesis system sucks too much. Yes, a 2 player game will be cool.

I would like a competition of this game on NES. FODA, I am waiting you and everyone else. First, I'm gonna beat FODA at Battletoads then this game ;) Btw, this game got similar tricks than Battletoads like pressing left+right etc...
