It doesn't record from Reset, but it does record pressing the Reset button, so you can record a movie so long as you press Reset right away.
Maybe but if you pause the emu, you can't press reset. In other words, you must press reset and lose some frames which is not clean.

Here's what the emulator is lacking: *Hotkeys remapping *Record from reset * F8/F11 : decrease/increase savestate slot I really hate this. I prefer the way FCEU is. Btw, when the emu is paused, we can change slots but can't see what is the number. *We can't reset the emu, F3, when paused. *Loading a savestate while recording makes graphics to glitch during 5 seconds. Well, it's doing this in 1944, I am not sure in other games. I thought doing some timeattacks but it's too complicated the way it is.

Filespace is filespace. It's not reliable. Sometimes links are working, sometimes not due to server being overloaded.

For SMB1, try adding 2 frames at the start of the movie and there should be no problem watching in FCEU. I don't know very much about emulation but I don't think Famtasia emulates games faster by having a superior clock speed.

You should read the movie-patch-v2-blip-readme.txt included with the emulator.

Trying to deal with lags in timeattack is clever. Only LOSER will use this cheat.

If someone could send me a savestate after scenarios are cleared for the US version. I don't want to do them.

But I am not sure if I should do it with freeland that requires a savestate or custom map which doesn't require savestate and will probably more interesting to watch but the movie will be longer due to some events. What do you recommend?

Evidently, this is not tolerated here. It's CHEATING.

We are waiting this release with the source code or a patch.txt . I recommend reading this page: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1139 It will be nice if he could do what I have written in this page.

I know, I know. Currently, I don't consider to be urgent. One day, a new version will be published with Nick Bruiser fight improved. Btw, I have seen that video. He was so lucky to got that random. Evidently, it will be faster than him.

It's not necessary nowadays since AVI recording is supported in GENS.

I think I came across something that prevents using this patch to do VS Unisystem runs - the emulator doesn't seem to record coin insertions. I did a practice run without rerecords through VS SMB, and when I played back the movie, it would not leave the attract mode. I should think that it would be a good idea to somehow retain the DIP switch settings as well.
True.
