Someday, I will probably redo a 2player run with FCEU since the advance frame feature will help me.

I don't know if it is warez or not but I was able to find it at suprnova.org in WMV format. If it's warez, I will delete my post. :) Now I can watch it.

I think I should buy an USB keyboard. Even with 5-8, I found it pretty limited when you have to press 12 buttons or more.

FBA can only emulate CPS1, CPS2 and Neo Geo games. King of Dragons is CPS1. Vendetta, I don't know that game. TMNT is a Konami game which isn't emulated by FBA. Simpsons and Wonder Boy are probably from other companies as well.

Make sure it's faster than Genisto.

I think I can do that. But I don't like this rule. Also, make sure that each file in the directory starts with the same name as the directory (e.g. if your directory is named movie1, make sure the files are called movie1.mpg, movie1.asf, or movie1_256kb.mov). Because of that, it will be more complicated to manage.

I didn't start it. I want a plan. I must find find a free software for making plan in squared sheets. It will be easier for me if I could know where to put all those things.

Well, where does SMB2(J) come into play? Isn't that unofficial-ish?
It's an official game.

In my opinion, killing enemies while running isn't so hard and less interesting than avoiding some of them. Sometimes I kill enemies from behind which is harder to do. My goal is for entertaimnent not mathematical like I did in my first version(Warp run v1) and somehow failed to impress some people. Now, it is to do a warpless version as fast as possible and show some glitches. If there's someting wrong right here right now, it is time to redo some part. When finished, I don't want to redo the whole game.

I have just updated the link. It's now 1-1 to 4-4. Same link as before. I am waiting commentaries before continuing.

Hmm. When I have tested FCEU for blip, I didn't tested that feature, it may be unstable, I don't know. I'm gonna test that feature later and see if it's ok or not.

I appreciate when people give me some commentaries about my run. Maybe I will redo stage 2-3. At least, I don't need to redo that 2-2 level. This level was boring to do :)

Entry to the water pipe in 2-2 looked somewhat clumsier than in the water pipe on 8-4. In 2-3, you missed a few coins that you could have easily took. (Not the 6 coins in row, but everything else.) Otherwise your decisions on that matter looked right.
:) I know you, Bisqwit, would say that. When Mario is big, it enters the pipe slower than when it is small. I have tested a lot of things and it was the fastest. For the coins, I thought it will not be necessary to collect them all since they are not so important. Unless you tell me what's entertaining to collect them.

I have updated my run. It's now 1-1 to 2-4. Let me know if you see something that bother you. http://hiddendragon.sytes.net/Super%20Mario%20Bros.%20(JU)%20(PRG0)%20%5b!%5d.zip Edit: I forgot to mention it's faster to use a Fireflower than just small Mario. Tested and verified. :)

I haven't watched it but I have some doubt it's played perfectly since his Friday the 13th wasn't so good.

Phil's backward jumps requires pressing left and right at the same time, and thus can not be done on a console.
I am not sure, but I think just pressing left mave save 1 frame compared to 4 frames when pressing left+right. When exiting pipe, I don't know. Unfortunately, with only 1 frame faster, I think it's not enough to make 8-3 two timeunits faster. I am happy that our MTPO helps Matt Turk. I red that adelikat found a way to improve DF2. I doubt someone can beat our video at full speed but still exist a way to improve it. I have my idea how it is possible to manipulate this luck but I am tired of this game :P and will try later. Maybe I will wait Matt Turk's strategy to be sure it's what I thought. Well, I know crouching change completely the random of this fight. There's a high chance it's that. The problem, since I don't know how to hex-edit FCEU movie file, I must redo Mr. Sandman, Super Macho Man and Mike Tyson fight. I don't want to redo these fights.

Thinking of that, what will happen if I decide to kill Bowser with fireballs? I will probably do that in my warpless version since killing all Bowsers with them, is faster than grabbing all hammers. Also, Yy in his video stop his movie later after he got the hammer. That rule is somewhat compromised since I will be the first one to use fireballs in a warpless version.

Earlier or later, it doesn't change anything but the fact that the rest of the video is so well played. Everyones still got their idea pretty anchored. So it's hard to convince people as well as convincing me.

The link is supposed to work in 5 minutes or so. Anyway, I will probably redo it to obtain a mushroom and fireflower.
