I believe Saturn is referring to a strategy Hero of the Day came up with when Cpadolf was making the currently published 100% run. Its a really cool strategy and I can't believe I forgot about it.

This is a fantastic run in terms of technical quality. Although it's true that each new submission should be the best TAS to date, you have really gone way beyond any reasonable initial expectations I could have had. It's been a joy following progress on this run over the past year or so. Well done.
Now you guys must team up to destroy the Any%... At least I hope you guys team up. :)

I understand why people find the Ridley and MB2 fights boring in low% but, there is no avoiding that because of the ammo restrictions. Sniq made them as entertaining as they could possibly be and in my opinion did a great job with them adding a little flair to them without losing time. The technical aspects of the TAS are more advanced then any other Super Metroid TAS out there. For this run to even be possible without any major glitches was unthinkable in recent years. Even simple things like moonwalk being used in a TAS was overlooked by Tool Assisted Speedrunners for many years. I believe it deserves a Star because of these reasons and many more.

Not with these votes. I thought I told you to not force anyone to find this entertaining.
Not to be a dick but, speak for yourself when you tell people not to force their opinions on anyone. He was just voicing his opinion not forcing it.

Sniq about the Ball Pump. Will it save time with Spring Ball? I assume it would considering you can Spring Ball through the tunnels which I would think will cause the falling technique needed for it. Might save less time though because you cannot alternate inputs.

Stop. Put at least a little thought into your choice instead of "HE TASED A MEGA MANS HE'S THE BESTEST EVER!!!!" This kind of behavior makes the Awards completely meaningless.
Well nobody has really submitted anything for SNES all year. He had about 5 good TAS' released and accepted for SNES this year.
Something like N64 for instance is a difficult choice for sure because there were many great ones released this year.
