(posting in English because i'm tired and don't feel like thinking right now)
We can't merge natt's a/v sync hack because there are a few problems with it, and it's not very clean code. Someone is planning to rewrite the video dumping feature from scratch, but it's going to take a while. In the mean time, we unfortunately, just have to keep doing what we have been.

Yes, that is true in the US.
Do I need to stick to only games that I've bought? If I buy a version of a SNES game that runs on Wii and/or GBA, am I allowed to TAS it on a SNES emulator?
A gba version of a snes game would be different game, so no. However on wii, they just run the original game in an emulator, so you may extract the rom from there, and play it on any other snes emulator.

Software developers kind of solved the ethical question - the code is distributed under many different licences. I guess we need some similar instrument of regulation, but taking into account the nature of TASing.

As long as credit is given, there's nothing ethically wrong with copying someone's input, because they've already given permission for anyone to do so. If they don't want people to copy their input, they should not have submitted it.

If you simply copy their input, and save one frame somewhere, then they should be listed as co-author. If you redo it, possibly copying their strategies, then imo, it's a valid improvement, no matter how few frames you beat them by. Everyone copies strategies from others, that doesn't warrant listing someone as an author, unless you want to.

3) It should work if you use hybrid wiimote.
4) Nope.
Tasing with a real wiimote would be a terrible idea, even if it were possible. Better get used to emulated wiimote if you want to tas.

why would you tas no sq lol
Also your rupee route is terrible. You can get all kinds of free rupees that cost no time. Off the top of my head, there's 29 in kakariko, you can get 8 total during sass, 10 from bokoblins in forest temple, and a few during skull kid fight. Snowboarding rupees are quick, but not as quick as 0 frames.

I don't see why you would do that. Physical limitations of controllers have always been ignored here, such as with left+right/up+down. I don't see why you wouldn't do the same in this case.
