Is it just me, or does recording a movie simply not work on this emulator? I tried making a Final Fight movie and playing it back, and it never even got past the intro (which it should have if any buttons were pressed at all).
I think you are new here... I recommend you to go here http://tasvideos.org/UsingEmulatorTools.html Movie Recording is simple, in file menu click record input, play game, when finished, stop it. to watch you game simple click replay input. browse you recorded file.

I really did'nt aim for that one... I don't think it can be entertaining in any way... anyway Thnx for Voting. It's slow, but good response to this timeattack.

They change the roms names quite often, so if you have an old emulator it probably won't run new version of the roms.
No, Not really if a game suppose Street Fighter to - The New Challengers is names sf2tnc.zip in previous version. It will be same in next version. In Neorage X (Emulator for neogeo) All roms works fine with all versions. This feature should be added in FBA, so we can find roms easily..

Finally I am able to reply to this old but important topic, I was in favour of Win Kawaks for Neogeo/CPS1/CPS2 Games. Later contacted Kawaks Team, initially Makers are not interested to make it open source emulator & i am not not skilled to work over it alone.. sO this topic ends (Making Kawaks Rerecord support Emulator). Now come to FBA rerecord Support Emulator. I got 35 neogeo Games for Kawaks. I did Browse roms directory for FBA... just 7 games detected & works fine, Why? Don't know... And the latest KOF Series Games (KOF 2001/KOF 2002/KOF 2003/KOF 2K4se) & Metal Slug Series (Metal Slug 3/5) roms are not working over FBA while it works with no problems over Kawaks under same conditions... In Kawaks there is a file called Add.dat in which you can add latest games crc32 to make it compatible with older version of Kawaks using Kawaks Loader.. FBA don't own this feature. So how will we play Latest Games???? Now Finally for Recording features currently required 1) Record from reset (As it is necessary to get published here) 2) Short Keys for Start/Stop Recording. 3) Short Keys for Checking/Un Checking Movie Read Only. 4) Games Options (To play it over arcade or Console), I found it no where. 5) Universal Roms, Each rom's size is arround 40mb for neogeo games & these are hard to find (No bugged). And I think a lot more... Just play and you will get. I hope someone will try to fix/add these feature. This is the only neogeo/cps1/cps2 currently support rerecord support but required some work... Enough for now.

This was a great watch, especially the second half (from Zangief on). Not just a good variety of combos - an 11 hit combo, re-dizzy combo, exploiting weaknesses in the AI of certain fighters (Balrog, for example), crazy use of the Hurricane Kick - but lots of little stuff that's nice, like getting all the different kinds of dizzy at least once (I always liked the grim reaper dizzy sound effect), knocking off Vega's claw, etc...just finding interesting ways to dominate the game. Nice job.
You actually clearify the movie description, Thanks A lot. More Voters Please.

I'm no Street fighter expert, but I've played some in my days, and I found all your combos very interesting. You seem to have full knowledge on all possible ways to kick the opponents ass in this game ;) So good job!
Thanks for voting ;) i m playing Street Fighter Series from 10 years, This is fully planned run & took 3+ months to execute. Between the perfect execution i played, replayed (sometime from beginning again) Because i want to make it a 100% voted run which no 1 can beat. And I hope it will get 100% vote :P More Voters Please :-)

Voted Yes. Gr8 Run, i actually enjoyed it. you aims for speed as well as entertainment. I like this hack, especially the new feature (Mario can use different modes between the game) There can be some improvement in this hack. 1) Better Graphic, It sux now. 2) Warps

shakespeare, why dont u try a KOF gba run?
Good Idea... But I think there is less combos moves in GBA's KOF. Let me get it's rom first, Let's see what can i do...

Shakespeare: that's how the game actually runs when you do the trick to unlock max stars. SF2 is a very fast SF game.
It's much difficult to play & do combos in 8 stars mode. Some time i took 200 Re-record to do first combo hit :(

Shakespeare: I would rather like to see another fighter with good combo-possibilities we haven't used in the previous runs like Dee Jay, Bison, Feilong etc.
Well Truely all players got a max of 8 combos, repeating those combos in 11 min movie will make it worst watch... I still know more powerfull combos of Guile/M.Bison & many more... but as i said repeating. I watched all of our SF submission. Finally i think there won't be any entertainment in next movies. So i am switching to other games.

Speed makes the game entertainment to watch. For Example Phil & Genisto's SMB Runs. Speedy & entertaining.

Also, is there a reason that at the 2nd round against Zangief, you throw an extra fireball that doesn't connect?
But it did'nt waste time? if it did, no more than 20 frames. Over all, I tried to work my best but unluckly i did'nt get much votes of yes... I really don't know how to make it entertaining in less time. There is no more than 6-7 combos of ken, so how can i make it different, Eye catching. Alright movie is already published http://kofdangerous.simgames.net/subindex.html & I read in Help section there is no need to publish a movie here, which is already published some where else. so Cancelling. I may try another one, it seems waste of time using ken :( may be some other player.

On this way you don't give the CPU character a chance to move or hit you. This is exactly what I tried to show in my Zangief Run. Letting the opponent hit you to counter him and let him look very bad this way (like in real fight). On this way both characters move and do hits and the fight looks more realistic this way.
Giving CPU, a chance to hit you. CPU got 80%+ ability to do anti-move against our move. so it's a pain in ass to perform. I tried to keep my player close to CPU & try not to give them a chance to hit me.. I don't know it's entertainment or not :(
Saturn wrote:
I think variety is more important than comboing. If you repeat for example a 8 hit combo 4 or more times its not that entertaining than if you would do less hit combos but different ones instead.
mmm. I agree. But there is a maximum of 10-12 combos. Doing a single or un expected hit never be better than a combo in my opinion. At the moment i really can't imagine how can i make an entertainment movie. By doing 100% attacks or what...... I think i can't work on this anymore. It becomes a Headache for me. Every next person is watching as their own point of view. And I don't think i can make various people happy. So the End from my hand.

I don't vote. I think you (Shakespeare) and me shouldn't vote for each other in this game, since we make the same movie and it's clear that everyone would prefer his own one. We should stay neutral and let the other guys decide that.
Alright i agree. But i really got dissappointed with voting. Only 6 Votes in 2+ Weeks :( Please Vote Positive or Negative. No problem. I want fast result.

>OK. Here we works for Timeattacks. If i take more time probably this will take more timeunits than Saturn's One. As a result, it will surely rejected without any doubt. I don't think so. In a movie like this fastest completion gets boring fast. That would mean finding the fastest combo and use it 24 times. I would rather see a lot of different combos and crazy stuff (which this movie had some of) than trying to KO everyone as fast as possible. There has to be some balance between the two.
OK a month late reply.... because of overall internet problem here in my, I was undable to use net at all. Between about combos, I used all possible combos. less time/more time/100% damage/dizzy/double dizzy. So you guys want more? are you sure something especial, still left in this game? I really get dissappoint with voter. only 6 Votes in 1 month :( Please vote.
